I am going to give you helpful ideas of what women want from the men in their lives! I know that it may be hard at first, and it may even sound a little tacky. Stick with it though because you will notice a change in your lucky lady almost right away! She will appreciate and respect you more and her mood will be lighter and happier! Why Romance is so Important!
Women need to know their man is thinking of them when they are apart! They need to know and be reassured that you care! It help us women to feel good about ourselves as well as reassures us that you in fact do love us and you love us so much that you went out of your way to show us how much you care!
I know that the typical male does not think about this as much as women do, which is why most men are not that romantic! It's not that they don't care, or don't want to be romantic it's simply because they just don't think about it. It does not mean they don't love the one they're with, it just means you are with a real man! That's not to say that the guys who are romantic aren't real men, they are either a little sensitive or they are dating/married to a woman who reminds them they need romance.
I am going to give you some ideas on how to show your special lady that she's in fact special to you! You can use mine or it might spark some creativity! Anything you do to say I love you will mean something to her regardless of what it is!
Love Songs
Once dedicated she will then listen closely to all the lyrics and most likely fall deeper in love with him because to her, that is exactly how he feels about her.
I recommend closely listening to the song before dedicating.
Showing Affection
This is THE cheapest way to romance! It may not cost anything but believe it or not it's what women crave the most. Most women would rather have affection than anything else in the world!
What I mean by affection is simply this:
give her a hug
touch her without trying to be sexual
kiss her passionately
just look at her
cuddle
say nice things to her
hold her hand better yet do it in public!
put your arm around her
and any other form on non-sexual form of affection you can think of!
Believe it or not if you show your lady some affection without expecting anything in return I can almost guarantee she will be more willing to love you back the way you want to be loved. She will also be happier, and everyone knows a happy woman equals a happy home!

Think Outside the Box
There are so many different ways to say I Love You with Post-it's! Here are some ideas for you to try!
1 When you are home alone fill out 5-10 or as many as you would like with words like; "I Love You" "You Make My World Go Round" "You are the Love Of my Life" "You are beautiful" and whatever you can think of! and stick them all over the house! You could also hide some of them so she will be finding them for the next couple days or maybe even weeks and every time it will put a smile on her face and love in her heart!
2 You could stick a quick "I love you" on her dashboard!
3 Leave her a note on the bathroom mirror telling her how much you love her, or that you are thinking of her!

E-Cards or Regular Cards
You could surprise her with an e-card in her mail box, or even a card with a little note on the inside waiting for her on the table! (or wherever she happens to look first)
A Simple Phone Call
Call her on your lunch break just to say I love you! It lets her know you were thinking of her, and that you miss her!
Dinner and a Movie!
You could even make her dinner! How nice would that be!!
Romantic Journal
Give her a notebook and ask her to record her romantic wishes ... take the time to read it every week, then make her fantasies come true!
Mixed CD
Make her a romantic mixed cd (song suggestions above) and include a personal message telling her how much she means to you!
Note
Leave her a note every morning, before you leave for work, letting her know how special she is to you!
List of Promises
Write out a list of promises, sign it, and put it somewhere she will see it everyday.
A Compliment Can Go A Long Way!
Don't forget to tell her she's beautiful and amazing! She needs to hear it from you!!

Make it a point to never leave or sleep until letting her know you love her!
Bubble Bath
Surprise your lover with a bubble bath! Run the water, light candles, put on some romantic music, and then sit in there with her and let her tell you about her day!

Plan a secret get-away for the two of you!
Mystery Date
Surprise her with reservations at her favorite restaurant and a babysitter!

Another Way To Show You Care
Let her know that you appreciate it! Say Thank You! Or you could say "The house looks really nice, thanks!"
You could also help out a little!
Here are some ideas of things you could do that don't really take a whole lot of work!
Take out the trash
Help with the dishes
Sweep the floor
Throw a load of clothes in the wash
*Make sure you seperate the colors*
Pick up after yourself
Wipe off the table after dinner, or better yet clear the table!
Give your children, if you have children, a bath!
Choose one day of the month to let her sleep in!
Vaccum.
You do not have to do all of the above you could just pick one off the list, and I guarantee your little lady will be as happy and grateful as if you had done them all!
I promise you, none of these things are very time consuming, and most are really very easy! It just takes one thing off her list and gives her time to do something else!
Presents
I know that it's stereotypical, but women really do like presents and they don't have to cost a fortune!
I will share a personal story that happened to me recently to give you an idea!
The other night as my husband and I were getting ready for bed I mentioned that I needed some new socks. I didn't mention this so that he would do anything about it, I only mentioned it because saying it out loud helps me remember for some odd reason.
The next day my husband had to run to the store to buy diapers. When he arrived home I was putting things away and noticed that he bought me new socks! It brought tears to my eyes!
I know that socks are not romantic by any means, but it let me know that he thought of me while he was shopping! That was romantic enough!
So there, that goes to show you that it does not have to be a fancy diamond ring, or even flowers. It can be day-to-day things!

Send yourself an e-mail then make it's own folder and call it the special occasions name and date. That way every time you open your inbox you will see it!
Calendar
Write it down on a calendar or organizer that you use frequently.
Cell phone
Most cell phones come with reminders, set your cell phone so that an alarm will go off on a certain day reminding you that today is her birthday!
Post-It's
Write it on a Post-it and stick it somewhere you look frequently, but preferably somewhere she doesn't normally see, such as your work place.
Memo to Me
Memo To Me is a personal reminder service that will send you notifications by e-mail absolutely free reminding you of a certain holiday, anniversary, birthday, etc!!

A free service that will remind you of birthdays, provide you with links to send cards, or even send flowers!

- Honestly it's just that we think differently but that doesn't mean we don't care. Just to make you laugh about us my friend forgot his wife's birthday and being a farmer came home for breakfast and one look at his wife's face and suddenly he remembered. So he dashed down to his neighbours farm store which is basic and bought her some sweets. Needless to say he was thoroughly non-plussed when his wife was even more furious with him. However it was his wife who told me this story amidst shrieks of laughter and much shaking of her head. Actually we do care and sorry for the ramble.
