I Want To Work From Home!

The first thing you need to do is to really make sure that's what you want. Success in any enterprise requires throwing yourself head first in the business and never looking back! Doubt, fear and hesitation are your worst enemies! If you decide to work from home only, know that it is possible but it takes time and lots of patience!
Get yourself a nice looking notebook and start writing ideas down. That's your first step into setting things in motion for you.

Remember TinkerBell's movie? It starts with a fairy being born and finding her true talent.
That's also true for us. We all have a talent. Each and everyone of us is born with a natural talent.
So your next step in working from home is finding out what your talent is. If you know already, great! You can skip this step and move on!

If you're having a hard time in figuring out your talent, start by listing down things you like to do for fun first. Things that give you immense pleasure. Also list things that you are good at. It could be anything! Math, singing, playing an instrument, cooking, drawing, teaching, making Bonsai, sowing, cleaning and organizing closets, baking cookies, painting, telling jokes, preaching, gardening, writing, using the computer, speaking languages, English, whatever it is you think you are good at, write them down!

My aunt is almost 78 years old, German, and for the past 20 years she has been working from her home teaching German! She is so successful that she has to decline new students everyday! Sometimes they will have to wait months before being able to schedule classes with her. She has made more money than she"ll ever need, teaching German right from her living room!
One of my friends knows how to speak three languages, so she decided to start translating documents, letters and articles to earn some extra money. Today she works with her translation business full-time, right from her laptop at home!

Once you know what your passion or talent is, start working with it little by little, first involving your family and friends, part-time and for fun only!
Don't worry about the money part yet! Money always follows true passion. Remember that. Be consistent and don't give up. Many people give up their home based business right before it was about to take off! Don't let that be you.
Persistence, consistency, faith and patience really pay.

Marketing is the soul of any business. It's no different with your home based business...
Be seen! Be searched for, be heard of! Start with your family and friends first, and then, slowly but steadily, start building your own "spider web"...
Put an ad on your local newspaper, make business cards and start handing them everywhere you go! Offer a free "sample" or a free class.
If you are really good in what you do and passionate about it, money will follow!
Money is a natural consequence. We all need money, but for a business to really flourish, the main ingredient is passion!

Once you start making money working from home, (and you will!), the decision to expand your business and going "big" is yours.
Many people are very happy with just making enough money to pay their bills, travel and save some for the rainy days. That's perfectly fine.
Remember, when it comes to your business, the sky is the limit!

My dream of quitting my daytime job and working from home only is getting closer!!
