Vienna Is Our Next Stop!
Only 2 more hours on the road from Salzburg...
1. The Vienna Boys Choir
2. The Lipizzaner Arabian Horses
The Vienna Boys Choir is known for its high vocal standard. Approximately 100 boys between the ages of ten and fourteen receive a solid musical education while they live and rehearse at the Palais Augarten. For their 9-11 week tours, the boys are divided into 4 choirs which perform about 300 concerts per year, enjoyed by almost half a million people.
The Lipizzaner Stallions are a unique breed, dating back centuries ago when they were used as horses of war for the nobility and aristocracy. The Spanish Riding School of Vienna tours the world with stunning performances of spectacular maneuvers, once used by riders to protect and defend themselves on the battlefield. A true equestrian work of art and the greatest equine ballet in history!

Hey! I've Got An Idea!
Let's fly to somewhere in France, away from the hustle of the big cities, and find some authentic French country food - the real thing, not any of that fru-fru stuff for tourists or folks with 7-digit Squidoo paychecks!
Something else: Y'all know that I sell this wonderful low-glycemic sweetener and condiment, Agasweet, back home in the good old US of A. The French have no clue about it. Maybe, just maybe - we can teach them something they don't know, yet?

Mmh - French Food! Just What We Were Looking For!
What Is Real French Food?
I was just kidding about the fries, of course...
"There were surely few lowlier, more stupid moments in American history than when a few ... started talking about changing the name of French fries to "Freedom Fries". First of all, the French call them frites and could hardly care less what we call them...".
He's got a point, there.
In the beginning of his book, Chef Bourdain talks about his conversations with some of the greatest chefs of modern times, when he asked them about their single favorite meal if they had only a few hours left to live.
Jacques Pepin chose "a good piece of bread - and some good butter". Ferran Adria wanted skillet-fried green asparagus, with olive oil and sea salt. Andre Soltner is said to have eaten the same thing for lunch nearly every day of his working life at Lutece: plain buttered fettucine, with just the slightest bit of foie gras.
