Why I Like iCarly, by a mom
As much as I love the Disney Channel (and I do-- check out my other lenses, many of which are Disney-related), the refreshing thing about iCarly is that it's non-"Disneyfied." It's still family-friendly, etc., etc., but there's a little bit more of an edge to it, and it's just wildly funny in a non-Disney way.Plus I love the way that it's so linked to the web. The kids can go onto iCarly.com, and it's literally an extension of the show! Very, very clever.
Why I Like iCarly, by a kid
I like iCarly because it's funny, entertaining, and different. It's not like any other show-- on Nick or Disney Channel.On iCarly, I like when they're doing the web show, how they do all these wacky things. And it's sometimes... usually... about Spencer and his wild sculpture/creation-things.
I always laugh out loud when I watch it!

- Jaylee is 2 1/2 years old. Nothing holds her attent ion on TV. Not a single cartoon interests her. I turn on Disney or Nick or the Cartoon Network or Sprout just to have it on for her. Jaylee cannot keep her eyes off of ICarly. I know it is old for her, but she loves the show. It hold her attention, and we DVR it for her. She calls it "OnCarly" or "My ONCarly Show" The best part is Jaylee's Dad and I love to watch it too....No ELMO for us!!...YEAH!

- I like iCarly because it is the most hilarious and clever show on planet Earth. Each character is funny in their own way. The show is kind of weird sometimes, but in the best way ever. After all, if it is not different, it's boring. The jokes and the outline are what make this the best show ever. iCarly rules, and I'll never forget it.
