iContact Real User Review
Whether you're just starting out on the web or you're a seasoned pro, a dependable, robust autoresponder is essential for business.
As I'm sure you've heard many times before, the money is in the list. You have to keep in contact with your customers otherwise they will forget you.
Over the years I have tried just about every auto responder out there including Aweber, Getresponse and Constant Contact to name a few.
Most of them did the job pretty well, but there were always things lacking, such as a user friendly interface and list segmentation.
When I came across iContact I decided to give them a try and I was pleasantly surprised. Their interface was the easiest I've ever used.
I mean so easy I could probably train a monkey to set up my auto responders.
The other email marketing programs I've used were always so clunky. iContact was pretty slick.
What also surprised me was that iContact was not only an auto responder, it was also a survey creator. That's right, you can make custom surveys for your site.
This is incredibly powerful because you are able to get direct feedback from your customers. You can use it to make your product or service better or you can use it to ask your customers about their overall experience on your site.
Either way, you'll definitely be able to boost your income by using this tool.
Here are a few more features that I thought were particularly helpful:
- Over 300 email templates
- Bounce-back handling
- Tracking
- White list agreements (higher deliverability)
I would suggest you take the 15 day free trial and check it out for yourself. You'll see what I'm talking about.
You don't have to put in your credit card, so it's definitely a free trial. http://icontact.best-autoresponder.com

Tips for writing auto responder emails
- Forget your english class. Write like you talk. Imagine your just talking to a friend.
- Make it personal. Use the personalization tools in iContact to make your reader feel like you're talking directly to them.
- Keep it short. Shorter sentences and paragraphs are easier to read.
- Use sub-headlines to break up the copy and allow your reader to skim the email and still understand your message.
- Tell a story. Your reader is more likely to read the whole email if it is told as an interesting story.
- P.S. Always include a P.S. that summarizes the email. Many readers skip right to the bottom so this allows your message to be seen.
