I opened an account at CafePress in December 2006, I needed to promote and link to my shop and I joined Squidoo in October 2007. I started out here just to promote my t-shirt designs at CafePress. On Squidoo I started out sending my small cash to donations mainly because I wasn't making much at first. Besides I didn't understand the whole Paypal thing. I made a few more lenses 11 or so, began to get better ranking. That's when I noticed I was making more than small change. It was necessary to learn more about Paypal. Just by making a Paypal account I could easily receive money from Squidoo. Instead of 100% donation I chose 10% and the extra income helped! You can choose any amount to donate or keep 100%. Honestly, now I keep 100% and donate to a religious organization that is not listed on the charities list, so that works for me!

Something I plan to do more in 2012 is to simply seek more of Him. Seek Him while He may be found. He's like a treasure hunt, He likes to hide. Finding Him in the smallest of moments is most rewarding.

My first real job was bussing tables. After high school graduation I started college for a graphic design degree. Next job was fast food drive in window. Then I got a newspaper layout department job, which helped me get into a computer prepress department at a printing company. After graduating I was hired at an advertising agency. After working there for four years, lo and behold I decide to stay at home to work and be a mom.

With no intentions of ever going back to work, I was given a new emac computer. I worked with a publisher to design book covers. I soon discovered cafepress, where I could use my designs in something profitable. I didn't make much for about a year.

After using Squidoo to promote my cafepress store, I learned that Squidoo was so much more than just blogging. After cafepress reduced their shopkeeper earnings I added some designs to a zazzle shop. They are also a nice company with friendly shopkeepers. Right now I'm happy swimming around Squidoo, it's a challenge at times to manage real life vs virtual life, but I keep it all going with God's help.

In the midst of all this, we have three children, one yorkie puppy and a white schnauzer. We miss our first beloved yorkie.
