I am a mom and believe me when I say the best presents are the ones that have some thought put into it. Here are some of my most cherished memories of presents from my daughter, and great mothers day craft ideas and activities for you to make your own mothers day cards, and make treats and gifts for mom.

By this time, mum should be up and dressed then you could surprise her by tidying your room. She really will think it is Christmas never mind mothers day. make sure she is sitting comfortably with the remote for the TV.
In the afternoon you could arrange a picnic even in the outside in the garden if it is nice, remember its mums day off. So no cooking allowed.
Get some help here from your mums friends before the day, if you need help.

Make a book:
Get some paper and fold into a book, draw a beautiful picture of your mom on the front cover, and then fill it with photos of you and your mum, family members, write down her favorite things, things that make her special her favorite music. Color it in and make it all glittery, a treasured book for mom
Create a Special Card
an easy card to make is, fold a piece of white paper , trace your hand on some pink paper cut it out and paste it onto the card. and write your message inside
Make some promise cards
Get a few bits of paper and write promises on them, it could be "I promise to clean my room for a week" or "I promise to do the dishes for a week" or try these easy to print out IOU gift promise cards
Make A Picture for mum, and write a Poem on it dedicated to why you love your mom, or why she is so special.
and finally
The gift most moms love is having time with you. Remember to tell her how much you LOVE HER

- Unfortunately, mothers day is going to be spent here in Kuwait while my mother is in America... (the other in Australia)... but oh well... :) I sent flowers (wish I could think of something else that could be sent long distance)... We will talk on the phone :) Blessed!
