Do You Want To Reduce Your Carbon Footprint And Help Stop Climate Change ?

Global warming and climate change are the biggest threat, we as human beings have ever faced !

All of us need to reduce our carbon footprint as much as possible in order to ensure future generations have a planet on which they are able to live.

Here i will share with you some of the best ideas on how to reduce or even offset completely you own personal carbon footprint.

Please do what you can to help change global warming and the climate for the better.

Great Ideas to Reduce Carbon Footprints

  • CUT DOWN YOUR COMMUTE. Choosing an energy-efficient car or converting to alternative fuels like ethanol or biodiesel helps, but you've got to stop driving so much to really make a difference. Just how much is your commute costing your wallet and Mother Earth. Try committing to one car-free commute day a week and help organize a car pooling system for your workplace.
  • GO SOLAR. There are many new companies that provide great solar products that will reduce your carbon footprint and energy costs. But it is also very easy to build your own solar power system.
  • FREE CLEAN ENERGY. Magnetic energy generators are a great way to help the planet and your wallet ! This kind of technology can completely eliminate the energy crisis in the world. They fairly simple and cheap to make so why not have a look here today.
  • OFFSET YOUR CARBON.Help protect over 400,000 acres of rainforest and other threatened wildlife habitats worldwide. In some areas in South America it is possible to save an acre of rainforest for very little. The rainforests act as the planets lungs and are essential not only for the rare wildlife but also in controlling the rate of global warming. This is a great way for you or your company to offset your carbon footprint, help wildlife, help rainforests and reduce global warming.
Offset your carbon and help save the planet here !
Donations are used to enable partner organizations to purchase threatened wildlife habitat and protect them as permanent reserves.
This is the most moral way to reduce your carbon footprint.

IF WE WORK TOGETHER DISASTER CAN BE PREVENTED.

  • HUG A TREE. It's OK. It's cool now. Better yet, plant a tree or ten !
  • USE LESS PAPER. The third largest industrial emitter of global warming pollution is the pulp and paper industry. Use paper made from post-consumer waste, and recycle your newspapers.
  • KEEP A CLOSED-DOOR POLICY. Moms know a lot about this. Keeping your doors closed means don't have to turn the heat or air conditioning on as much. Don't set your thermostat too high when it's cold or too low when it's warm.
  • USE THE SUN TO DRY YOUR CLOTHES. Energy-guzzling gas and electric clothes dryers replaced Grandma's clotheslines, drying umbrellas and wooden drying racks that can be used inside or out. Sun-dried clothes smell good, the sun bleaches whites whiter and you'll seriously reduce your utility bill.
  • SEAL OFF WINDOWS AND DOORS. Using weather-stripping to seal drafts around windows and doors will cut your heating and cooling expenses and reduce the burning of fossil fuels. It also protects against zombies.
  • USE THE PUBLIC LIBRARY. There's no need to buy so many books, especially if they're published overseas and sold at a big box store. Any library in your city usually, either has the book you want or can get it for you from a neighboring library.
  • BECOME A LOCAVORE. When you choose out of season organic food that's from journeyed overseas instead of locally grown anything, the pollution caused by the container ships outweighs any benefit you're going to get. Locavores say eating what's available locally is healthier anyway. Cooking dinner? Make a few meals at the same time and stash them in the fridge.
  • PUSH FOR CHANGE, BIG AND SMALL. Just one idea can get you started and then get your friends and locals involved.
Make friends, Reduce or offset your carbon footprint, save lots of money and feel good about yourself for doing your bit to stop global warming and climate change.

These are wonderful ideas, and this is an important concept!

But be CAREFUL not to copy / paste content from other sites. It's usually copyrighted, and it's not right to take someone else's work without credit. Even if you're taking just part of their article, that's still plagiarism.

Instead, you could link to their article, or write an article in your own words, then credit a source for where you got some of your tips. (I noticed because I'm pretty sure you don't live in Santa Clara, California. ;) )

Nitpicking aside, it's an important lens, and I know it's in a good cause!
