- When I was a kid potluck parties were commonplace but you no longer see this ritual so often. Perhaps the economy as it is we will see potlucks become more common again.

- My husband and I have always done the cooking for our guest on Halloween, but I much prefer this idea of potluck. Sure would make everything easier. There was a time when I really enjoyed making everything myself. Now, it would be a treat for me to have others bring contributions. Lots of great ideas, suggestions and decorations here. Love this lens!

- I have never had a Halloween pot luck party, but you have given me some good ideas for one. Sounds like a fun time with friends and family. I have never gotten LOTD either, so congratulations even if its belated. This is a great lens.

- Those are boootiful "Halloween dinner party place settings". Oh I just love the "Halloween eyeballs in the soup bowls" with the bones on the rim - very Hungarian ghoulish. Don't you just love it when your "Halloween food" stares back at you.
