Why is Ifeveryonedid.com more like a cigarette than a nicotine patch?

Don't worry, we aren't bad for your lungs. But we do help you to not quit.

We're ALL in it pretty deep

Few people argue nowadays that man-made climate change is occurring at ever-more rapid rate all over the world. We won't write about the dangers of global warming here...

you can already read about that at these lenses:
'Earth, Environment and Global Warming'
and:
'An Inconvenient Truth's lens

Leading scientists have predicted that to divert totally catastrophic temperature rises, the industrial world must cut its emissions by between 50% and 80%.

To do this, everyone needs to get involved in cutting their contribution to climate change, and they need to get the people and businesses around them involved, too. Anyone who tells you it's going to be a walk in the park is leading you down the garden path. It'll take some effort, so we need all the help we can get.

That's where ifeveryonedid.com comes in. we all know the problems we're facing, some of us are taking actions to alleviate them, but what if everyone did?

I did my best to tackle climate change and all I got was this lousy t-shirt:

it's a really common feeling.

People around the world are realising the need to take action, a great deal already are, but then it's difficult to know where to start, and when you do it's even harder to not stop and keep on making a difference.

If you pick up some green habits, how do you know how much impact they are having on the world's climate problem?
If you install some solar heating in your home, but everyone else around you is still taking cheap flights and driving 4x4s left right and centre, trying to make a change can seem pointless.

Ifeveryonedid.com comes to the rescue in several ways:

  • helps you pick out and commit to green acts and campaigns to reduce emissions.

  • reminds you to keep taking action and make your good deeds into habits.

  • helps you quantify the impact of what you've committed to doing.

  • Helps you get other people involved and make sure everyone keeps up their good deeds.

If you join us, we'll help make sure you know how much of a difference your making with every step you take.

But there are some things I can't change right now....

We'll still need to pay for insurance, mortgages and flights from time to time. But these can help in some ways too.

If you buy one of these through us, we'll donate money to fund projects that could dramatically reduce emissions and change the way we live. This is money that goes directly to research, and you can be sure that the money is going to make a positive impact.

We call this Global Curer projects, and they're overseen by one of the world's leading Biodiversity, Sustainability and Conservation scientists, Professor Ian Swingland (OBE). Through Ifeveryonedid.com you can still buy the most competitively priced goods on the market, but each time you do, that money creates 'Cure Credits' , donations that go straight into research into global warming cures and solutions.

What research?

glad you asked! we're making a lens on that right now, point you in the right direction when it's done.
