A must see Movie to honor the child within!
If You Believe is about a woman who is an Editor and has forgotten about the real person she is. Something happens and her child within comes to life and she is the only one who can see her. Together, many events happen that causes changes in this woman's life. A must see 100% chick flick!!
However, what I really wanted to talk about is how experiences change us and because of many of the changes we often forget about the innocent part of our selves. We forget about our child within, and in the whole process, we lose certain parts of who we really are. Have you ever wondered why this happens? I have......
One of the best movies honoring the child within
If You Believe

This is one of the best movies I have ever seen that teaches us about our child within. The child within can help you remember many wonderful things if you continue to believe in her or him. This is a heartfelt movie that would be great to include in your family library.
A poem I wrote......
Who could this Child be?By: WhiteOak
November 2008
I saw her standing there-
Her hair messy and disarrayed
Her clothes were dirty and tattered.
You could tell she was sacred-
Her eyes showed the fear.
Who could this child be?
I saw her standing there-
Peeking around a corner
I wanted to reach out to her
But I did not know how.
When I tried to take a step towards her,
My feet would not move.
Who could this child be?
I saw her standing there-
I wanted to open my heart to her,
I tried to opened my mouth to speak,
But the words would not come out.
I felt like I knew what she needed to hear,
I wanted to comfort her but I just stood there.
Who could this child be?
I saw her standing there-
All tattered and afraid,
I fell to my knees
And all I could do was cry.
When I looked up again,
There she was in front of me.
Who could this child be?
As I stared into her eyes,
Something felt very familiar,
It was at that moment, I had an epiphany-
I was this child, and this child was me.
I wrapped my arms around her,
And pulled her close to my heart,
Together forever we will always be,
My Child Within and Me-

Inner ChildBy: Jewelsofawe
You
So sweet and innocent
A heart open
To the world
Unafraid
Your beauty untouched
Play, little one, play
The sparrow sings today
I honor you
Inner child
Loving
With no prejudice
How beautiful you are
As you dance
To the sound
Of sunlight
How I love you
Sweet one
How I do
A few of my own thoughts...
My Child WithinDo you remember when you were a child and everything was unique and fresh when you played? You could pretend to be anything you wanted, do anything you wanted to do, just by using your imagination. We could keep our self entertained for hours by doing the simplest things-a sheet over the kitchen table that magickally turned into a fort or a secret cave. Have you ever noticed how bubbles glisten with all colors of the rainbows and did you know that if you blew a big enough bubble you could step into it and go on spectacular journeys?
When it comes to a child's imagination, the only limitation is the child their self. Imagination means: making power of the mind; the power to create or reproduce ideally an object of sense previously perceived; the power to call up mental imagines. Now in the movie If I Believe Susan's father use to always say: you is what you is, and you're not what you're not. Okay, it is obvious I will never go on a journey in a Huge Bubble physically, but as a child using my imagination there was nothing I could not do. If a child (or anyone really) is always told they cannot do this or they cannot to do that, then of course they will never do it. Simple little things like this are the beginnings of pushing your Child Within deeper, and deeper within, until they get lost and you cannot feel them anymore.
I remember the day I found my inner child. It was a day I will never forget and a day that awakened many things within me that I had forgotten. I swore that day I would never allow my Child Within to be lost again. I took her in my arms and hugged her and told her I loved her always and forever and a day. So above when I said, it is must be a funny picture to see a 50 year old blow bubble, but who cares, I kid you not, I do not care. Don't get me wrong, it's not like I would go to some huge event and pull out a bottle of bubbles and start blowing them, but I would do that in my own backyard (laughs).
The whole point here is this: Life is so short to always be so serious. It is okay to play games, or watch kiddy movies even if you do not have children. It is okay to make people laugh even though they may think you a loony bird. To have fun in life is the same as allowing your Child Within to come out and play and enjoy their self. Now, honestly if you wanted to play with a rubber ducky while you were in the tub just make sure the bathroom door is locked, because that may not be something you would want everyone to see or even know about. Do not be afraid to play...
Play and have fun....
Sometimes when bad things happen...
The one thing that I do not want to do is put a downer in this lens. But unfortunately many things can happen in a child's life that causes the Child Within to get buried so deep that she is too afraid to surface. Fear to me is one of the worst emotions there is. It lies to us so good that soon we are totally convinced that we are what fear says we are.I am very much a Behind the Scene kind of person. I want to be an author and an artist and want to accomplish these goals without being present or in the physical. (Laughs) Boy that does not make sense at all. I Hate being the center of attention. I lost college credits because I refused to get up in front of the class and give a speech for my final. That was before I found the little girl inside and began healing her. Today, I believe I can do it because I am different then I was back then. The major thing is about this is the fact even as a child I was always surrounded by family members who needed the attention and since I did not, I would always hide.
Being a 14 years old having to act like a 21 year old; did not leave much room for children thoughts, and playing. I suppose that is why my inner child makes me do crazy things no. Uggg, okay here is a huge secret of mine are you ready? I LOVE faery glitter and things that sparkle, I am so hooked on that stuff it is like how some people are hooked on chocolate. Oh wait; I am hooked on that too but you get my point, right? I have seen with my own eyes, faery dust make people smile that were all depressed and sad. If you EVER get a chance to get some faery dust, I strongly recommend you get it.
Yes, there is Fairy Dust on Amazon.....

- My inner child had a lot of faith, but chronic pain is still lingering and even worsening. And I was crushed when my Old English Sheepdog died, despite faith and prayer.
