Saturday 3rd November
Many stockists that still have IgglePiggle in stock are now limiting customers to buying no more than 2!I believe that people are buying more, or were buying more and selling them on Ebay for double or triple the retail price.
Even though stocks are limited to only 2 per person, why not buy 2 and sell the spare one on Ebay and this will pay for the first one!

Google News - Night Garden Sellouts!
Heres some comments form others about In The Night Garden
sourced from Google
- My son (18th months) absolutely loves it. There isn't another show that he responds to quite like it. I love it too, it's so gentle and funny. The designs are really beautiful too. A hit for us.
- what does anyone else think of in the night garden? written/produced etc by anne wood of teletubbies fame ( plus rosie and jim and others )
i'm really not sure, my 23mth old (and friends) were not interested at all on monday, watching again today, with a 19mth old... both girls sat transfixed for the first 20 mins.
i like the idea but 'upsydaisy' 'igglepiggle' and 'ninkynonk' could become irritatating!
i would be interested to hear what anyone else thinks! - Absolutely love it, and already feel disappointed that there are only 100 episodes... My 8mth old son doesn't quite get it, but i suspect it might be something that he grows into, maybe by his late 30's?
I just love all the characters, their world, their diversity and their little dances...!
Wonderful! - I love it too. But not as much as my two year old daughter. She ADORES it. She talks about it all the time and has a picture of Iggle Piggle that we printed out and she coloured in, and she talks to it! The second time we watched it she screamed when it finished, she was so upset. My OH was worried she'd been brainwashed!
It reminds me a lot of progs I watched when I was younger like Camberwick Green and Bagpuss.
It's so well done and they've clearly spent a fortune on it. I love that all the little gadgets all really work. And it sounds awful, but I can't wait until the first plush come out. I think we'll have to get one for her for next Christmas.
Perhaps I've been brainwashed!! - My (nearly) three year old son loves this program and I have to say I am happy to sit and watch it with him.
Luckily we have Virgin Media's V+ system so we can record them and watch them back as and when we want to.
My son loves the Ninky Nonks sounds (signs of toilet humour coming on there I expect) but then he probably laughs at the noises coz his dad does (yes I do find toilet humour funny).
It's an excellent show, totally captivating for children and (some) adults alike, total innocence and a very easy to watch program, the characters are charming and I like the play on the names using phrases that parents may use with their children - Poor Iggle Piggle, spends his awake hours alone on the stormy seas, is only truly free in his dreams, always the last to go to bed, no-one tucks him in, he even has to put his own night light on.
He clings to his red blanket as it's the only thing that's always with him, so alone, poor little blue bastard.
And that theme tune, it's been designed by a crack team of ear-worm geneticists, I cannot get it out of my head. I'm even thinking of making it my ringtone. - My nearly 3 yr old loves it, she is more into it than the tubbies! She asks for it all the time, and used to be "scared" of the moon, until we explained what the moon was and that it helped the charachters.
Upsydaisy is her fave, and sings her tune all the time. the theme tune is good as well, brings tears to my eyes - I love the fact that the program is a childs dream, and the music is utterly relaxing and Derek Jacobi's narration sends me to sleep! (in a good way). My favourite bits are the willow flowers exploding into bloom at the start, and the lights in the garden becoming the stars in the sky at night.
- My (almost) six year old loves it. She's engrossed from beginning to end.
Initially I couldn't stand it, basically because of the stupid names, but I must admit it's so simple, it's grown on me. I can see how it would appeal to very small children in the same way the Teletubbies did.
And now my husband's chest hairs (the few that he has) are known as the Pontypines!!!
Aaarrgghh! It's drawn me in! Others beware - there is something mesmerising and beautiful about this show. Its also melancholic in the way that only childrens tv can be (ivor the engine and bagpuss being the two that spring to mind for me) but something way more surreal. The music is great and Makka Wakka is my favourite.
Enjoy.............

Review 1My two year old Son and I have just discovered 'in the night garden' and he just loves it. This toy goes to bed with him. the only down side is the blanket, it's held on with velcro and so he tends to take it off and chew it so I have stiched it, but it is a lovely toy
