Why I started iHope Shop
The first death to affect my young life was the loss of my good buddy and grandfather, Poo-pa, when I was 9.
Cancer took him from me, and I've been looking for a way to get cancer back for it all these years.

iHope FAQ
(Frequently Asked Questions)

Who are you?I have been a Relay For Life volunteer since 2001. I have had the following roles in Relay: team member, team captain, committee member, sponsor.
Why do you donate ALL of your profit?I lost all four grandparents to cancer, as well as an aunt and most recently, my sister. I don't know anyone who hasn't lost someone very close to them to cancer. I don't want my kids to have to fight ... we must find a cure. I also participate to honor the cancer survivors in my family, including those currently battling this disease. I have a separate for-profit shop on Cafepress so I don't need to keep any of the profit from the iHope shop to cover my expenses ... doing good comes back around. :)
Why don't I see any ACS or RFL logos?I am bound by my volunteer agreement with ACS that I not use their logos in any unofficial capacity. That means that they cannot be used on any merchandise, or even on the website except under strict guidelines.
How do I know that ACS will get the profits from the iHope store?I am more than happy to provide the contact information of my local ACS staff partner to verify my current and past involvement.

Tami is aware of the iHope cancer fundraiser store, and the importance of stressing that iHope is an unofficial fundraiser due to IRS 501c3 regulations that ACS must abide by.
How can I get a personalized design?Contact me with your ideas. For basic custom work, such as adding a loved one's name to a current "I walk for" design, I can usually have it on products in the store and ready to buy within 24-48 hours, on average. I do have a regular 9-5 job so I can not work on merch during that time.
How can I give directly to Relay For Life? You can visit my local event's official American Cancer Society website here. To make your donation apply toward my Relay team's goal, click here.
