Just for good luck, tuck a twenty into a special place in your handbag. It could be a tiny zippered area... you choose and then forget about it. Trust me, some time in the future you will need that twenty and suddenly remembering it will make your day!I remember it use to be an old superstition that made everyone who gave someone a wallet as a gift, to add a penny for good luck. Think of the twenty in the same way. And it will go a lot further than a penny will!
They Didn't Last Very Long
Most of our handbags last longer than maybe we would like, but that wasn't the case of the first primative "handbags". They were actually made of leaves. I would imagine that they were woven together, but I'm sure that they didn't take long to wear out.

Just too cute and I love the saying. That is so me, but the practical side is looking at this little change purse as something that one needs anyway. I'm always finding change in the bottom of my handbag. I have to wonder how much I have lost by dumping it in the bottom or in a coat pocket. It's an easy way to lose a lot of money!

Clean Them Out Occasionally
So, what's my excuse?? I'm super busy and I haven't the time?? I could come up with about a hundred reasons why my purse weighs a ton, but no one is suffering except me. It's my shoulders that are aching because I have this belief that I NEED all of that stuff in my purse.This afternoon, turn it upside down and dump everything out onto the table. That's the only way you are going to see what is actually in there and then make two piles. What you REALLY need and what you don't.
And the perks?? You just might find a twenty dollar bill that had fallen to the bottom. Then there is that little thing about being to shop all day without aching shoulders.
