Don't You Love Popcorn??

I love popcorn this site is dedicated to all the great ways to have popcorn!!!!!!  in the movie theater with lots and lots of slimey butter slathered all over it....at home with light butter, parmasean cheese & garlic powder...at a party....how ever and where ever you love it!!

Cajun cheesey Corn

in a large baggie or bowl with lid add 1 tbs of your favorite dry cajun seasoning - i like the emerils but mccormicks or old bay are good also - add 1/4 cup of grated parmasean cheese (from the canister)

mix these well (you can just close and shake up the baggie or put the lib on the container and chsake well)

add 1 standard sized bag of microwave popcorn - aready popped

***this works better with popcorn which is battered, even if marked lightly buttered

asian hot oil

put hot popcorn in big bag or bowl a few drops at a time addd in hot oil so all the pieces get some - mix VERY well - and beware it will be hot!!!

Is popcorn better in the microwave or the old fashioned way?

Microwave is the best! fast easy and no mess!

Popcorn must be made in a popcorn maker or on the stove!!!

 

garlic & parmasean popcorn -

garlic & parmasean popcorn -
get a bag of your favorite microwave popcorn (or pop it the old fashioned way on the stove as long as it is hot and fresh)
put it in a big bowl that has a lid (or a giant baggie)
add butter (for lower fat use butter flavored cooking spray)
add 1/4 cup grated parmasean cheese
add 1 tsp of garlic powder
shake
ENJOY!!!!

To make this more festive for the holidays mix the parmasean cheese in a baggie with a few drops of food coloring before you mix it with the popcorn!! make a red and green bowl for christmas - or orange for halloween - pink for valentines day!!! perfect for any party!!!

Colorful Party Popcorn

Popcorn already popped (still hot works best)
grated Parmesan cheese
food coloring

In a 1 gallon zippoer bag place about 4 heaping tablespoons of parm cheese & 2-3 drops of food coloring - shake and mx to color the cheese - add popcorn tot he bag till 1/2 full seal the top and shake to cover the corn!!!

this is great for a theme party - for st pattys day make it green!! for 4th of july make red white and blue popcorn!!! you can color the corn to match your kids birthday party - even make it black for an over the hill party!!!
