I Love Quitman

I love Quitman! You might be able to see that from all the I Love Quitman and other Mississippi promotions which I have produced. But why do I Love Quitman so much?



If you lived in Quitman you might understand my affection for the city and area. You see, Quitman is a small country town. The people here are friendly and love God, country, and their families. But what I like most about Quitman is that it is a laid back and relaxed little town, with little traffic, not much noise, that is clean, comfortable and a safe place to live.

Certainly compared to a big city, Quitman does not have much crime. There are petty crimes reported in the local newspaper every week; that is the case no matter where you live. But generally Quitman is fortunate and blessed to have a low crime rate in other respects. Also Quitman has a good Neighborhood Crime Watch Program that includes disaster preparation and networking to limit hurt and harm in case of an emergency.

You might think that a little town like Quitman does not offer opportunity. But that's where you are wrong. There is opportunity in Quitman and other small towns because they don't have all the stuff that bigger towns have; that means that for anyone who is an entrepreneur like me, Quitman has great opportunity.

These are all reasons I enjoy living and working in Quitman. You see, as an artist, photographer, designer and writer, I never run out of things to keep me busy in Quitman. I enjoy the quite country life; it actually inspires me and provides the time to do what I most enjoy, which is creating new websites like this one based to a large part on creative expressions.

I am trying to do what little I may to promote Quitman. There may not be much one person can do, but I hope others who can honestly say, "I Love Quitman" will join me. Let's all say "I Love Quitman" together and let the whole world know that Quitman is a wonderful town!
