Smurfs

"The Smurfs" is the best cartoon ever in the entire history of cartoons.

Most of the cartoons today are so dark and violent while the Smurfs was a bright and happy cartoon.

The Smurfs starting playing in USA in 1981 and were the most popular cartoon of the time. It started playing all over the world in tons of languages. The stores were full of awesome Smurf merchandise. Everything from play villages to figures to clocks and clothing to records to dixie cups.

There should have been many, many more seasons of the Smurfs and it should be playing every day. The Smurfs stopped playing on TV many years ago which is a total tragesty and only ignorant, evil people could have taken the Smurfs off the air.

You can take the Smurfs off the TV, but you can't take the Smurfs out of people hearts! The Smurfs have always been loved and popular and finally some marketers with some sense and brains decided to release all the Smurf episodes on DVD! We still need new Smurf episodes and a Smurf movie though.

The Smurfs will never be forgotten. People still dress up as Smurfs today!

The Smurfs are little blue creatures. They are by nature very happy creatures except for Grumpy Smurf.

They live in the forest in cute mushroom houses. There are only 2 female Smurfs, Smurfette and Sassette. A baby Smurf is delivered by the stork every blue moon.

The Smurfs live for a very long time. No one knows for sure, but I'd say well over a thousand years. The leader of the Smurfs is Papa Smurf. He's very wise and fatherly and he's the one who wears a red hat. He can also do magic.

The Smurfs favorite food are Smurfberries. The Smurfs love to sing and they have concerts every so often.

Very few humans have ever seen Smurfs. The Smurfs have a few human friends and their enemy is Gargamel and his cat Azrael. Gargamel is obsessed with catching Smurfs and sometimes he manages to briefly capture them but they always escape.
