When you sign up for Triond you can publish your articles to any of their websites (you choose the article category and the article appears on the right website).

You can then publicize your articles as you would any other website, sending links to your friends, etc.

And you can make an author profile page where all your articles are listed together.

Explore!

How to find articles of interest on Triond's network

Triond's new Explore tab allows you to search all of their sites for your favorite topics!

Finding all kinds of articles, photos, videos and music. Have writer's block? Just look up "Writer's Block" to get tips on breaking the block.

To have your articles show up in these searches, make sure that you tag and title your article appropriately. Think about how you would search for your content, and then pick out a few main keywords to use as tags. The more relevant your tags are to your subject matter, the more likely someone will find and click on your article in a search.

Tag responsibly = get discovered!

Add some color to your profile

Jazz up your Triond profile

Sharing your work with potential readers is easy to do. Not only can you use the social media bookmark and share links (they appear in every article and when you view your content in the Content tab), but you can also pass along the link to your Public Profile on Triond. Since your profile is the gateway to all of your published work, it's the prime destination for you to send to others.

Your public profile URL looks like http://www.triond.com/users/Pen+Name where Pen+Name is replaced by your own pen name (fittingly). If your pen name is two words, like John Doe, make sure you replace any spaces in your pen name with the plus sign. John Doe becomes John+Doe. You can also find the URL for your profile by clicking on your user name in the top right hand "Welcome" corner after you sign in.

Back in July Triond released a feature that allows you to personalize your public profile by applying one of five colorful themes. If you haven't already done so, why not take this opportunity to select a theme, update your profile picture, and go through your contact information to ensure that everything is correct and current. After all, when someone visits your public profile, they don't just see articles, photos, videos, or music, they see you.

At this time there are five skins to choose from: Classic Triond, Triond Negative, Rose Petal, Earth Colors, and Simple Skin. To change your profile's color, go to the Account tab and find the drop down menu called "Choose a Skin for Your Profile Page" in Public Profile Details. Change your Triond skin as often as you like, according to the season, your mood, or even your outfit!

I chose Earth Colors for my profile :)

How do I get paid?

Payment options from Triond

Triond welcomes writers from all over the world, and offers three different payment methods - so you're bound to find one that suits you.

Their primary payment method is via PayPal, and it has the lowest payment threshold (£0.50!), so you'll get your cash quicker - probably once a month. If you're new to PayPal then check out some of the places you can spend your PayPal cash.

Triond's second payment option is via a check, in US dollars - check whether you can pay a US dollar check into your bank account if you live outside the US. The minimum payout threshold for checks is $50.

And lastly, if you select Western Union as your payment method, then Triond will wire transfer your earnings to the Western Union office closest to your address. Again, the minimum payout for this option is $50. Once you receive email confirmation of the transfer, you'll be able to go and pick up your money.
