I'm a RocketMom! Lensography

Back in October 2009 I received 2 emails that I had been anonymously nominated for RocketMoms and Giant Squid. (Thank you!) I knew what a Giant Squid is and knew I wasn't ready with only 10 lenses. I wasn't quite sure about the RocketMoms. For some reason I though the RocketMoms program was started outside of Squidoo. I thought maybe some sort of Work at Home Moms (WAHM) group. I obviously had a lot to learn, so I was hesitant... and unnecessarily intimidated by this awesome group of women.

Just prior to this time I had broken my foot, and wanted to take advantage of my downtime, so I increased my efforts in writing more lenses. Well, I think there is always a silver lining to anything negative... and in this case I added 10 more lenses to my library. At that point someone must have been watching over me because I received a flurry of blessings. See SoyCandleLover-Makers Angel Blessed Lensography .....

Silly me. What did I have to worry about regarding the RocketMoms? I've had a lot of fun, learned a lot, and met some wonderful Moms willing to share their knowledge.

This mainly is a listing of the assignments given during the RocketMoms Sessions. I've posted the sessions in reverse order to show the newest session first. I've also included lenses I written during the sessions that I've been a participant.
Thanks to RocketMoms, the inspirations continue.

After 2 sessions, I had 51 lenses I felt pretty good about, so I applied for Giant Squid prior to the March 2010 deadline and MADE IT!
After 4 1/2 sessions and 102 lenses I applied for Giant Squid 100 and made that, too, in October 2010.
