I'm Addicted to Candy Corn Candy: All Things Candy Corn
Candy Corn Candy is my Favorite Candy--How About Yours?
Candy corn candy just calls my name every fall; these little yellow and orange candies satisfy my sweet tooth in a way like no other. As I thought about this perfect little candy this year, I began to wonder all the different ways in which I could use candy corn candy: as costumes, in recipes, in crafts and more. Be sure to bookmark this page--I'll be adding to it frequently!

Why Do I Love Candy Corn Candy?
Oh, let me count the ways
Aside from the fact that candy corn candy is utterly delicious, it represents so much more to me. Candy corn candy equates to fall: the leaves falling, cooler nights, and warm sweaters. My favorite candy springing up everywhere means the holidays are coming; after all, Halloween kicks off several months of festivities. Holidays mean a time for family and for togetherness (and heck, for a few days off of work!). So, you see, this simple confection is not just candy to me, but something much more.Read on to to learn about some of my favorite things that include--you guessed it--all things candy corn candy!

Did You Know?
More than 35 million pounds of candy corn will be produced this year.
(I'll be sure to eat my share!)
Candy Corn Candy as Costumes
Going trick-or-treating as Candy Corn Candy (or as a candy corn witch) is a cute, timeless costume. The costume is usually reserved for girls, however, babies of both genders can wear it. Some babies' costumes even include a bunting feature, which is perfect for chilly locales (hmmm, maybe my child will go as a piece of Candy Corn for Halloween this year).
You can up the cuteness-ante by using face paint to paint an orange or yellow circle on each cheek, especially for children. For women, consider adding some fake eyelashes in eye-catching yellow or orange (bonus: see the video below on how to paint candy corn nails!).
Those who are crafty can even make their own candy corn candy costume!

STEP 1: Fill your vase with candy corn candy.
STEP 2: Place the candle into the candy corn. Give it a good twist so that it settles nicely in the candy corn.

Make Candy Corn Candy Parfaits
How cute are these?
- Serves: 4
- Prep Time: 5 min.
- Total Time: 10 min.
This is a fun, easy Halloween recipe using ingredients you probably already have in your pantry. These literally took me no time at all, and my guests LOVED them.
Ingredients
- 1 box of instant chocolate pudding
- 1 box of French vanilla pudding
- Cocoa Puffs
- Whipped cream
- Candy corn
- Orange gel color
- Halloween sprinkles
Instructions
Prepare the chocolate and french vanilla pudding according to the directions on the box. Separate the french vanilla in half and set half aside; use orange gel color to make the other half of the pudding orange (just a few drops will do). Now, you'll have three pudding colors: brown (chocolate), yellow (french vanilla), and orange.
In mini parfait glasses, layer the ingredients in the following order:
Cocoa Puffs
yellow pudding
whipped cream
candy corn and Cocoa Puffs
chocolate pudding
orange pudding
candy corn and Cocoa Puffs
whipped cream, sprinkles, and a few candy corn for garnish
Allow the parfaits to chill in the fridge until pudding is set.
