I have a lot of respect for you. I am 34 years old and have been a bit shy about taking some martial arts classes. I haven't done it since I was in middle school. Now after reading this, you gave me some extra push to check it out. Thank you!

Great lens! A 40+ parent of a 14 year old 2nd Dan in Taekwondo myself, I've spent years watching...thousands of hours probably...along with transporting my daughter all over the UK and Europe for tournaments. Many times I have considered starting myself but having been a parent for so many years have not yet been able to overcome the fear/potential embarassment of getting up and training.

Who knows you may just have inspired me enough to get off my butt and just give it a go! Thanks!

Hi Lora , I practice Shotokai Karate in a club in Scotland and whenever anyone uses age as a reason for not at least trying it , I introduce them to one of our second dans , Eddie . Who just happens to be 75 years young .
