    Love it. I made a few lenses a while back but when I received a surprise payout I thought that it was time to update them and create some more. Money is such a motivator. Well done on your achievements.

    I just wanted to tell you how much this inspired me back in my early days on Squidoo. As the first few $0 paydays rolled around and then a few months of pennies, I felt I must not be a very good lensmaster. Then I found your lens and it reinvigorated me. I have over 400 lenses now and going strong. Thanks for getting me past my early days of doubt.

    I haven't earnt a dime on squidoo yet? and not much more on zazzle after 7 months of hundred's of hours of works. Great lens very inspiring, I feel enlightened, not sure it me, but I'm still going to give it all a go for a little longer.

    Ha ha! I have had a good laugh with your lens. Great sense of humour. I do not think I am patient enough to work like you do to make my big pennies. I have made $1.46 during two years with one lens not touched over all that time :-) It's too much time consuming, somebody is making really big money while we are trying to get some tiny$ 1. It's for people who have nothing else to do I guess :-)

    Brilliant lens! Made me laugh out loud... which would have been fine were it not for the fact that there is something very sad on TV as I am reading and people are looking at me like I'm insensitive.

    I finally made .28 cents and got all excited. Thanks for the tips on how to make money. I have been wondering and searching for months now on how to get a module on my lenses for people to sign up for Squidoo but I can't find anything. Any ideas? Thanks for sharing what you have.     Thanks for a good laugh! I've done a bit better; joined May 20th 2011 and built my first lens, Artists that Paint on Stone, which was LotD on June 16. And somebody bought something through the Amazon module so I have 60 cents waiting to be paid out. ;-) But more than anything I am having a great time here on Squidoo!

    Hahaha... this is a very fun lens. Yesterday, I got my very first amazon purchase, it was 9cent only. But since the lens was published 2 weeks ago, I thought it's great! =D but sadly I can't have caffeine, so it's very hard to keep me awake from all these squidoo addiction. :p

    I have visited your lens several times as I like the way that you are always updating the info (there must be a glitch since I have that I have given the up sign before but it's showing that I haven't ...hmmm - I hope that you haven't thought that I have ignored this lens) .     I agree on the Zazzle affiliate being worthwhile. Although I haven't sold a big batch (like your lobster aprons), it's a steady trickle plus it makes the lenses so colorful with all the zazzle graphics.

    While I would normally laugh (which it is funny) my little income is no laughing matter. I've yet to break $10 and been here for 3 years. Okay, okay I haven't been that active until this year so the lens I'm doing now will hopefully pick up. But for many, many moons mine was just doing this: 0.00 9 months later 0.03 (woo hoo I made money).....3 months and nothing......1 year and 2.36....stuff like that. :) Enjoyed your post.

    I barely make anything here and it's quite discouraging...as you say, you can't just throw a lens together...even doing so takes time.
    I know nothing of affilate marketing and such.....I barely get any sales in the modules here....

    I read one lens of a guy who was working to make I think it was $1000 a month here. Now, he knows affiliate marketing and such, but was pretty close to his goal....and only working squidoo an hour each evening and a few hours on the weekend. Yeah, it was too good to be true.

    Wonderful lens. The first time I made over $10.00 in a month, I was excited. I figure if I can get to $60.00 a month it covers all my websites. $80.00, it covers my website fees and Netflix. It doesn't sound like much, but when you group your money out into this Squidoo income, it is helpful. It really is. And it really is limitless. It's up to you what you earn.

The first two years I was on Squidoo I joked about it - my income was like $12..A YEAR. I didn't care because I was mainly using Squidoo to promote other websites - and it was doing nicely at that. Then I started paying a little more attention, making a little more money, and became a Giant. On a good month now I make $60 or so. Who knows - the sky is the limit!

    Great lens! I feel better about my progress now...I have only been with squidoo about two months, I have 6 lenses published, and have made no money. BUT- It sounds like I am geared to make at least .68 cents. Your lens is very encouraging to be patient with squidoo to reap the rewards.

    This reads a whole lot more like reality than all those "Get Rich Quick" free reports I've been downloading (then having to close 20 nag screens)

    Love your lense. I know how you feel. My lenses have been earning about 20 cents a month. I donate it all to charity anyway but seeing the big numbers do make you feel better about your effort.

    Just wanted to say thank for making this lens! It's actually pretty informational in addition to being funny. It lets other Squids know the importance of both quality and quantity when trying to create lenses that will bring in a little bit of profit. I'm now aiming to create no less than 100 lenses (but maybe more), all on topics I love and find interesting, so that I won't tire of updating my lenses or adding new info to them every so often.

    This made me laugh so hard! I don't have any major dreams of getting rich on Squidoo, but it is fun to see my lenses moving up in the ranks and learning how to tweak them and make them better all the time.

    I've only made a few, but have a few hundred more in my head that I can make...

    Hah, I love it. I was initially very enthusiastic about squidoo but having written - from scratch - five lenses now - and noting they have gotten about 3-20 visitors, I wonder if Squidoo isn't like a poetry workshop: everybody just comes to read their own poem, and leaves.
