    I use a lot of photos and you have sure given me a lot to think about. I will be back to study more. Evidently, I don't take advantage of letting my photos bring me more traffic and I sure can use more traffic. Thank you so much for this great info.

    Hi good tips on this lens, I also get lots of traffic from images - but remember one thing, this is generally very low quality traffic of people who just want the image and may not stay long on your site or even view it at all. It's still keyword search that brings the quality traffic but I think properly tagged images can help with this as well.

    Thanks so much! I never thought of putting the link in the photo. It makes sense to me now. I will also (slowly) go back through my lenses and switch the photos over. It will take time but it will be worth it.

    Definitely learned some new stuff here, and I'm favoriting it so I can use this lens as a resource. Now I'm gonna have to go back and make sure I renamed all of my photos rather than using the default title.

    Sometimes I am challenged a weee bit finding that perfect image to put in a blog post. Never honestly thought of using a hippo though -- most unique suggestion. ;)

    I have no idea how to put a photo on to my blog....especially one that is one of my own from a file.
    I've used embedded codes and shared some of my videos..which reminds me that I got started here on squidoo before doing my daily blog post!
