FIGHT THE IMMIGRATION BILL...UHHH BILLS, AMENDMENTS, ETC.
Aug 5, 2007- Well, the incrimentalization has begun. Since the legislature was unable to pass a sweeping amnesty bill, they have begun to pass small sections of it. The other night, while most of us were unaware, the Congress passed a bill(AGRICULTURE BILL) with language enabling illegal aliens to recieve welfare. It appeared to be defeated by a two vote margin, but AFTER the gavel fell, the Democrats reopened the voting. This is unprecedented. SEE THE VIDEOS BELOW.
I will try to see if I can find some C-SPAN footage and post it. We need to hold our representatives to task for this type of corruption. If the majority will ignore an outcome of a vote till it goes their way, why even have a vote? We should just let the majority do what it wants, I guess. Keep an eye out, my understanding is there are more immigration related bills and amendments coming down the pike.

ENSIGN APPLAUDS ENACTMENT OF THE SECURE FENCE ACT

Las Vegas, NV - Senator John Ensign applauded enactment of the Secure Fence Act which authorizes construction of hundreds of miles of additional fencing along the southern border. The legislation was signed into law by President Bush today. Ensign saw first hand the need for secure fences in urban areas during a tour earlier this year along the United States-Mexico border.
"It is critical to the security of our nation and our citizens that we secure our borders," Ensign said. "Building fences in urban areas will greatly assist the efforts of our border patrol agents in preventing illegal entrance into our country and protecting our communities."
Senator Ensign is responsible for two important pieces of legislation that have been enacted into law. He led the effort to double the number of trained border patrol agents, and, following his briefing on the border, he introduced legislation to send the National Guard to the border to provide support to the border patrol.
"Proving to the American people that we can secure our borders is also a step toward comprehensive immigration reform. I believe that the Secure Fence Act is an important tool in making sure that we know who is entering our country," said Ensign.
DON'T BE FOOLED WHEN THEY PORTRAY THAT THE FENCE IS TIED TO THIS BILL. IT'S A LIE!!!!

Why?
I cannot for the life of me figure out how they expect to enforce a whole new set of laws when they haven't had the will to enforce current law. The fact is, they know better. There is something sinister afoot.
Watch the developments here and contact your senators and the president. Remind them that they will be held responsible at the ballot box. Ridicule them, ride them, call them, email them...whatever it takes to make them DO THE RIGHT THING AND VOTE NO ON THIS BILL.
