education is mostly i concerned because now a days education is business most people knows it. bcoz most rich people begins educational institution by investing their money and they earns from it. and nowadays education is not knowledge oriented, its money oriented and result oriented, job oriented. And nowadays education only teaches technical education not moral education, good thoughts, and life philosophies. it causes cultural destruction of students, sex abuse, terrorism, anti socialist criminals..etc

Overpopulation is one thing. Being flooded with all sorts of junk is another. Funny, there are no charities to relieve those, but if there were, all other charities would have much less work. Just food for thought.

Oil peak in canada SHOULD be a problem. America is investigating it, Canada isnt. WHY? I just watched a movie in Global Geography about Oil Peak. I also did research about oil peak in canada and came across a letter from Rick Munroe who is in the National Farmers Union.

    "Dear Mr. Lunn

I have been researching the topic of energy security/peak oil for the National Farmers Union for almost two years (although my interest in the oil depletion issue goes back to 1972).

The results of this research are increasingly worrisome for many reasons, but one of our greatest concerns is the position of Natural Resources Canada's Oil Division with respect to peak oil.

As an interesting exercise, you might take two minutes on the Internet and note the following difference:

If you go to the US Dept. of Energy website and do a search on peak oil, you will get over 8000 leads, many of which indicate that peak oil is a very serious concern.

If you go to NRCan's website and do a search, you will get 10, none of which have anything to do with peak oil.

Quite apart from failing to serve citizens who might want information on peak oil, the appearance (unwarranted, I realize) is that NRCan is not even aware of peak oil and has nothing to contribute on this topic."

Human overpopulation worries me the most. There are simply too many human beings on Earth for us to support ourselves in the way we’ve been doing it up until now. We consume more, demand more and, in our search for resources, encroach more and more into each other’s lives and spaces. With that being the case, cultural tolerance, selfishness and the decay of social values must be high on the agenda, too.

I chose "other" in your poll. I could select numerous concerns, but I think there are deeper things underlying it all, at least in the western world. There's so much lack of self worth, lack of emotional intelligence and lack of purpose. There's also a huge victim mentality and a lack of a big picture view of things. To me, these underlying factors affect all we do (all the choices we make that result in abuse or misuse of ourselves, other people, animals and the planet).

    Rightooo!
There is no other Crucially Urgent Problem for Mankind as Full Nuclear Disarmament!!!
After the Cold War ended ii seemed we would move fast to eliminating the danger. No! I expands not only becasue N.Korea or Iran can balckmai neiighbors with nuclear warhead. It is the astronomical stockpile of the warheads comi;ed by superpowers.
The planet is sitting on a nuclear powder box which can explode by chance or evil deed any minute and exterminate vegetable and animal life on Earth for billions of centurues.
There is noo more pressing global issue as ACT NOW TO STOP THE MADNESS!!!!

Awesome! Your daughter's project is a fantastic concept and great work! Very touching and inspiring. BIG SMILES and respect for her efforts and for you continuing the process. Wishes for people together to bring positive thought and energy to solving all of these issues.

The root cause of many of these problems, and a major contributor to many of the others, is too many people. While there have been human rights abuses throughout history, when overpopulation was not a problem, most of the rest come straight from there.

    Nice lens design. 5*

having lived homeless in a tent built out of a tarp and cinder block, for 8 months after disaster (flood) struck our family a few years back, I have to say homelessness and hunger are issues that I feel very strongly about, because I've seen them first hand. Our family was lucky to be able to pull through it on our own and slowly work our way back into a normal life again, but since than I've had a completely new outlook on what it means to be homeless. Living on the streets is not what most people think it is, and it's far from being like what you see on tv and movies, it's hell not knowing when the next meal will come, not knowing how many days it'll be before you can find some scrap of food to eat, or worse trying to stay warm during a blizzard when the only shelter you have is a plastic tarp. Our family was lucky, but so many others are still out there on the streets, and something must be done to help them.

Very Important Lens. Global warming is the top of my list. Human rights come straight after that of course, but GW is going to affect that too. I think we'll see a lot of human rights abuses as governments and corporations struggle to maintain profit lines in climate change.

Great idea. I tried to vote on the issues section but it wouldn't "click". That's probably for the best. I worry about alot of things. Its hard to narrow it down to just one.
    5 stars

To me, Global Warming is the number one issue. If we don't stop it now, everything else will get worse. I believe that GW is the keystone to many of the other issues.
