Do you often feel like you're participating in some type of exotic stretching routine while backing out of your driveway? Just like many drivers, I know the feeling all too well. You look in your right review mirror, then to the left, then to the center, and repeat until safely out of your drive way; only to repeat again the next time you're required to back out of a space.

What many drivers do not realize is that the area behind your vehicle which cannot be seen is often the most unforgiving. Rearview mirrors are a wonderful thing, but they are certainly not a "catch-all" solution. This is evidenced in reports issued by Kids and Cars where an estimated 50 children are being backed over by cars EVERY WEEK! Most often these tragedies happen in the driveway of the child's home, and nearly 70% of the drivers are a close relative to the child involved.

A wire must be run from the camera and hard-wired to your vehicle's reverse light circuit. This way the camera will be activated when in reverse.
