Mark has over 25 years involvement with music as a musician, sound engineer and music teacher.
The site is an attempt to help musicians of all styles & standards improve their playing skills. It will feature a collection of hints, tips and exercises to suit any player. As Mark is a drummer, the main content at first will relate to drumming. Before too long though we will have many guest contributors as well from a variety of backgrounds, speaking on a variety of instruments.
We also accept hints and tips from our readers so if you've got something you think others would benefit from, why not share it there?

Advanced Techniques For The Modern Drummer: Coordinating Independence As Applied To Jazz And Be-bop With Cd (audio) (Vol. 1)
This book has been in print for around 50 years now and is still as popular as ever. I am currently using this book to get me started in the jazz band I've recently joined but it is a brilliant book for drummers of all styles. Great for working on independence.
