Improv, the spontaneous creation of theatre and comedy, is found in nearly every major city. Here are some useful websites to find shows nearest you or to learn more about this incredible art form.

Montreal Improv: Montreal Improv is an organization dedicated to the art of improvisational theatre or 'improv'. Our mission is to grow the improv community by teaching a new generation of improvisers. We have classes every month and shows every Thursday, Friday and Saturday night.

Learn Improv: This site is pretty comprehensive, maybe not as much as the Improv Encyclopedia, but it does have a neat setlist generator that you can use.
The Canadian Improv Games: This awesome organization supports budding high school improv teams all across the country. Find out more!
Yes And: Yes And brings you news from the world of improv. You can find forums, articles, resources and a bookstore.
The Improv Wiki: This is an improv site that anybody can add to. As its front page suggests, it is a bit haphazard, but there are some tasty nuggets of information found inside.

tidbit: The Improv Society is also known as The Secret Improv Society. The Improv Society has been performing every Saturday night at 10PM at the renown Shelton Theatre (533 Sutter) next to Union Square.
