In Bloom by Nirvana off of the Nevermind album
by Nirvana
Sell the kids for food
Weather changes moods
Spring is here again
Reproductive glands
He's the one
Who likes all our pretty songs
And he likes to sing along
And he likes to shoot his gun
But he don't know what it means
don't know what it means
and I say
He's the one
Who likes all our pretty songs
And he likes to sing along
And he likes to shoot his gun
But he don't know what it means
don't know what it means
and I say yeeeaaahhh
We can have some more
Nature is a whore
Bruises on the fruit
Tender age in bloom
He's the one
Who likes all our pretty songs
And he likes to sing along
And he likes to shoot his gun
But he don't know what it means
don't know what it means
and I say
He's the one
Who likes all our pretty songs
And he likes to sing along
And he likes to shoot his gun
But he don't know what it means
don't know what it means
and I say yeeeaaahhh
He's the one
Who likes all our pretty songs
And he likes to sing along
And he likes to shoot his gun
But he don't know what it means
don't know what it means
and I say
He's the one
Who likes all our pretty songs
And he likes to sing along
And he likes to shoot his gun
But he don't know what it means
Don't know what it means
Don't know what it means
Don't know what it means and I say yeeeaaahhh
In Bloom by Nirvana: Political or Entertaining?
Nirvana wrote In Bloom to take a stab at arena rock. The song is mocking people that sing along to songs they don't know the meaning to. Ironically, In Bloom was often sung along to by many fans of Nirvana at their own concerts..
Do you like the 'sound' of a song or the 'meaning' of a song more?
Fetching blurbs now... please stand byI like the way the music sounds, that's how I decide what is good..

In Bloom Backlash and Commentary
What people think about In Bloom by Nirvana
- Nirvana 1992 Reading Festival Performance on DVD - Rock3 Rock News ...
- There was never any pretence with Nirvana, the titles were as simple as the lyrics, but carried meaning far beyond their simple repetivness. Still Nirvana haven't lessened the pace or spoke and we charge into Sliver, at the end Kurt grunts out 'this song is called Bloom" before they crunch into the song, which carries its hidden message behind a grunge fuelled heaviness, by now the crowd are ecstatic and Cobain thanks them. There is much to much to say about this DVD, ...
- Ground Control - Nirvana - [Album]
- Other accounts claim that Cobain was still begrudgingly writing songs on the drives to recording sessions as Jack Endino's Reciprocal Recording Studios and that most of the lyrics were just tossed off and meaningless ? not at all a telling ... nor does it possess the textural punch of Steve Albini but songs like ?About A Girl,? Nirvana's treatment of ?Love Buzz? and ?School? do mirror some of the ideas on Nevermind (look at ?Stay Away,? ?Breed? and ?In Bloom?) while the ...
- Mike Ragogna: HuffPost Reviews: Nirvana, Michael Jackson's This Is ...
- This is pretty much Raditude, and the new album seems to borrow from both sides of Weezer--pre- and post-Green--though its lyrics, as you can see from the above, still find Rivers and company celebrating adolescence with much exuberance. .... You can't recreate what it was, and you can't do it from here...meaning 2009. But somehow, because it had begun back then, I was able to finish it. I'm so tickled with that song, especially because, when it was finished, ...
- SMELLS LIKE TEEN SPIRIT Lyrics - NIRVANA
- I really doubt there's a deep meaning, sadly it was just meant to sound good like most songs, it's probable that the lyrics were meant to be something only he would understand, but it's so simple. ... I LOVE NIRVANA!!!!!!! this song, heart shaped box, lithium, in bloom, and all apologies r my fave songs. pinata 08/27/09,04:21.
