Income producing etfs
If you have been reading my other lenses about exchange traded funds, you would by now be exposed to a whole bunch of funds that are growth oriented.
Here comes a bunch that is dedicated to generating high dividend income - both in the United Staes and troughout the world. If you are retired, or have a chunk of cash you would like to see generate some income - dividend etfs might just be the thing for you.
[9/19/2008] After the recent government bailout of the financial industry, and the curbs on short selling, we should forget the notion that we have a free market in this country. All I can say - we are no longer investors - we are all traders now, since the rules of the game change to often to allow for "investing" - investing presupposes rules that apply to everyone. Those no longer exist. If you still wish to keep your money in the stock market - keep in mind that at any time, the government may support the trades you made, or may pass regulations that will cost you 40-60% overnight. Wall Street is no longer a market - it's a casino with the government picking the winners at its whim.

PSP - private equity companies etf - yields 5.73%
