    Good God. Finally. It took me days of searching, but finally somebody explained the concept of SEO using long tail keywords in terms i could understand. I knew the concept was simple, but nobody seemed to be able to properly communicate it. I only began looking into affiliate marketing this week, and this is the most valuable information I have heard yet. Thank you.

    Hi Sam,

    I am new (and partially clueless) to this whole internet marketing thing. I am however keen and have good intetions. Having created my website which I guess you could say details info relating to weight loss with specifics like fat loss tips and answering questions such as what are the best foods for weight loss.

    I will put what you say to the test and report back in several weeks or so.....(fingers crossed)

    Thank you very much for this information ... You have a very informational lens here ... I have been a member of Squidoo for quite sometime now ... I just never really knew much about making a lens untill just resently after getting back online ... You see my husband is a Wonderfull "Artist" he "Draws" Beautifull pictures I don't have any of his "Drawings" posted online yet but I do hope to get some of those posted soon ... I just finished Creating a Lens about his "Hand Carved" "Wood Spirits" That we are hopng will start saling soon.     It was good reading your ideas - getting those backlinks really does convince Mr. Google that there really is something interesting 'going on over there'!
    New-Marketing-Contacts is what any business, online or offline, is looking for. Those new marketing contacts are the lifeblood of our businesses.

    Great bit of information here, I am positive that I will start seeing traffic to my world of warcraft leveling guide reviews and my world of warcraft gold guide reviews in no time.     Backlinks *with relevance* are important along with soloid content, white hat SEO and the longevity of your site and/or domain. This is a good intro lens - looking forward to your additional tips.

    if your going to link your site to the other site be sure that it is a dofollow link or else google won't crawl your link on that site.

    and the most important, is your content, people just link back to your site if they find your content worth linking to.

    building a good reputation on the net could also help.

    Nice article on how to increase traffic to your website. Besides having backlinks to your website are their any other ways to increase traffic? I've heard that you can also write or edit articles in Wikipedia and add a link to your website (assuming it's related to the article you've edited). I also like the idea of putting your URL in the signature of message forums and blog posts.

    Great lens, it's got some really good pointers on increasing your web traffic rankings. I have tried many times over the years to move my site up the google rankings but have not been particularly successful. Most of the traffic I get is from blog commenting, yahoo answers, but mainly Ezine Article submissions. This traffic is great for sustaining my visitors but Google doesn't seem to have picked up the backlinks. So, I'll try a few of things you suggested to increase my web traffic rankings.
