Successful Learning

Institutions surveyed reported overwhelmingly that increased demand for both new and existing programs has been a driving factor in the growth of online learning, including about two-thirds of institutions citing demand for new offerings and nearly three-quarters of institutions experiencing higher demand for current offerings.

Educators believe that the demand for new online programs will mean continued growth for this education medium, especially public universities and community colleges. Online bachelor degree programs continue to establish themselves as demand remains strong and new applications materialize. In turn, the need to share research will increase, and optimal methods for faculty training to instruct online classes will be set in motion.

A New Way To Learn!

Flexibility and in-depth courses that focus on a developed curriculum are just two of the reasons more students are choosing to enroll in college and obtain an online degree. The economy is weak, and working adults are either faced with job loss, or the prospect of starting a new career in a different field. Working part or full time is possible, even simple, when earning a degree online.

The job market is extremely competitive, but you can give yourself the upper hand by furthering your education. Hiring professionals are taking a good look at each candidate's resume, and when qualifications are identical except in the area of education, managers are choosing the candidate that has a degree. Many are reluctant to attempt to find a new job in a weak economy, but the skill set you will have upon graduating with a college degree will work to your advantage.
