Sunset at North Pole

In a world filled with tragedy, war, and drama, us human sometimes need a break to realize something amazing. This little note is uplifting, centering, and magical. I am grateful for friends who reach out to me and include me in the good stuff of life.

Sunset at North Pole

Hope the photo prints here

This is amazing!

" SUNSET AT THE NORTH POLE "

A scene you will probably never get to see, so take a moment and
enjoy
This is the sunset at the North Pole with the moon at its closest
point.

And, you also see the sun below the moon.
An amazing photo and not one easily duplicated. You may want to pass
it on to others.

The Chinese have a saying that goes something like this:
"When someone shares with you something of value, you have an
obligation to share it with others!"
Augh....the picture wouldn't copy, so I am substituting this video. If you want an email with the photo that brightened my day leave a contact address for me to forward it to. I will not send you junk mail or anything else. Mary

OH! But you did not provide a link to see the pic! Thanks for writing. It's been awhile since I wrote this. It would be fun for others to see the beautiful image. Mary

Sorry to have to break the bad news - this isn't a photograph but a digital image, a work by artist Inga Nielsen entitled 'Hideaway.'
This scene could not exist anywhere on earth because from our earth the moon and sun appear to be nearly the same size. Hence solar eclipses.
Also, although the crescent moon shown is approximately accurate given the location of the parent star, in fact, earth's North Pole looks very different to the terrain shown here.

From the North Pole

I have an amazing sunset picture that won't copy here: contact me if you want to see it.

When in doubt I go to You Tube, and here is something to enjoy.
