What is wrong with corporate media!

Corporate media does not serve you. Unless you like your beliefs spoon fed... Unless you like to have your hatreds and biases fed... Unless you don't want to think for yourself...

With the dearth of truth out there in main-stream media, you need some independent media sources for learning about the Occupy Wall Street movement and the world.

If you believe you are being served by corporate media, and if you believe the Occupy Wall Street movement is just a bunch of hippies, idiots, lazy... the one act of changing your sources to independent media will prove to you that you are being played. Test it. Find out for yourself.

Independent News Sources

The indie news

In these times, it's imperative that we each are armed with knowledge. Best practice is to use all of the resources you can fit in. Dig until you know without a doubt that you are informed. Here are a few indie sites to get you started.

We really have to watch what we read and try to figure out what we can believe.

I recently read "The Swerve," a book about the Middle Ages-era discovery of Lucretius's ancient poem to Venus. After I get over feeling so ignorant about this prehistoric treasure, maybe I'll pick up your theme of independent media sources for OWS to review it AND the tragedy of its suppression by popular religion. Thanks MiMi.

Excellent sources of factual and independent media sources! mainstream media can be counted on to do one of two things, either ignore the story or thwart the story...making it appear to be something it is not. Glad to find these media sources for occupy wall street, very thorough.

Lots of spin, hype and sensationalism out there to cover up the truth (about many issues). Thank you for putting this resource together (esp. for folks like me who live outside of the US).

Our era is definitely one that is overloaded with information and it's easy to get caught up in the hype and noise of the mainstream media. I seriously don't have much time for that, but it's important to stay aware of the sources of information in order to focus on the truth and we surely are responsible for what we intake.
