Objective of the Independent Voter
Independent VoterĀ is dedicated to opening the political process for independent and third party candidates. We are concerned with issues such as: ballot access, clean elections, open debates, same day voter registration, initiative and referendum, fusion that allows candidates to run on more than one party line, open primaries, independent representation on electoral regulatory bodies such as the FEC and county board of elections, and expanding democracy in general. Currently 58.7% of NJ voters are registered as 'undeclared'. We are a majority of the voters, but we are not organized to exercise our political clout. Let's organize! Come to see more at our activist website.
