Indian Costumes Are Fun For Halloween and Essential For A Thanksgiving Play
Remember how we used to dress up as kids, and Indian costumes were so popular?
Times haven't changed! We still dress in Indian costumes for play and for Halloween. They're fun to wear.
(It must be the fringe.)
Teens and tweens have a variety of cool Indian costumes, from a Tribal Spirit Indian princess costume to a Noble Warrior Indian costume with Mohawk wig and face paint. Add feathers to your hair, wear soft suede moccasins and carry a fringed bag or a toy tomahawk for a great look.
Adults also like to play dress-up! Wear faux buckskin, fringe and feathers as Indian Halloween costumes. These costumes are also really great for couples. The two of you can be an Indian warrior and an Indian princess. Or dress the whole family in Indian costumes and go to a Halloween party as a tribe
An Indian costume is also perfect for a Thanksgiving play. In 1620, the Pilgrims landed at Plymouth Rock and the Native American Indians helped them by providing seeds and teaching them to fish. Our time-honored Thanksgiving Day commemorates the bounty of their harvest the following year. A traditional Thanksgiving play means the re-enactors need to wear Indian costumes, Pilgrim costumes and maybe even a turkey costume!
Kids love to pretend and use their imagination. These Indian costumes and accessories are great as outdoor toys if they want to play cowboys and Indians, or just pretend they are Indians in a teepee playhouse.
