It's all about Indian Hair

Ok, so I'm building this page to help out as many people as possible.  I've come to know quite a bit about Indian hair and what makes it so special... so I thought I would start writing the female community about Indian hair and it's history, qualities, and anything else that comes to mind.

I'm kinda new at this, but I would love you feedback and would even love to answer you questions if you have any... so please do send a message if you have the urge to ask.  I'll do my best to help all ya'll out!

What's so special about Indian hair?

A brief summary...

So what's all the hype about Indian hair?
It seems to be all the rage, everyone from Beyonce to your mother is wearing the stuff... but there's more to it than that. You're probably asking "What makes me want to put that hair on my head?" I'm gonna do my best to give you the rundown, there are a number of reasons:

Most Indian hair is 100% unprocessed or chemically untreated
Yep that's right, Indian hair isn't processed or treated in any way whatsoever. Treating the hair is what damages the cuticle, and once the cuticle is gone the hair will become weak and break. The term virgin is used to describe hair that has never been tampered with chemically. This type of hair is also called remy or cuticle hair, because thhe cuticle is left intact. When shopping for Indian it's very important to know that virgin Remy and/or cuticle hair is the what you want to ensure a good quality product.

The texture is extremely diverse
There is a full selection of textures available with Indian hair. The best part is that it's all natural... to the root! Choose from straight, wavy, curly, deep curly, and kinky curls... what else is there? Straight hair get a body wave by simply wetting it a little bit. Wavy hair can usually be made bone straight by using a flat iron.

The color is already natural
This is a big bonus for African American women. The black Indian hair already matches the natural hair, without the need for additional coloring or enhancement. It's usually available in natural black or off black colors (on the hair color chart it's 1 and 1B respectively). Indian hair even comes in natural dark browns and lighter browns, which mixes well with black hair in a number of situations. Indian hair also comes in blondes, reds, and whatever else... but remember, once it's colored it's no longer virgin hair.

Indian hair is of great quality. I have to say that I love Indian hair out of all hair extension types. I'm an African American woman, the natural color and texture blends in the best for me. Especially the virgin Indian Remy, I swear by it and recommend it to all my customers (I'm a stylist).

I've tried a number of Hair extensions... including European, Chinese, Brazilian and Indian. I am so far most impressed by Indian as it gives me the quality I'm looking for at the most reasonable cost. I purchased 2 Indian hair extension wefts from www.pefectlocks.com about 6 months ago and they're still holding up great! I have been very happy with my purchase so far.
