The World of Indie Music vs. MySpace's Big New Launch
Thanks to breakthroughs in internet technology and the soon to give in Major Record Labels and RIAA, the playing field of the music industry will be shared between major artists and indie artists, and more and more indie music reviews will display themselves all over, much like the major music reviews do now.
Indie Music Reviews
Why indie music shouldn't be left out...
In recent days, as the music industry is changing drastically, and new models for distributing music are introduced, it seems that all of the attention is being put on major artists and major labels.
But what about indie music?
There are constant reviews about the music industry as it applies to major labels and artists, but even though indie music is becoming more and more prevalent in today's industry, the indie music reviews that are found online don't quite present it that way.
There also doesn't seem to be as many places yet where you can find indie music reviews as well as the best indie music.
Due to the revolution of home recording and the increase in quality of home recording equipment, the quality of indie music is also much higher, which is also partly responsible for the increasing popularity of indie music.
However, this popularity has not yet shown in the indie music reviews that populate the blogs and social music sites on the web.
While social music sites such as MySpace, LastFM and IMEEM have helped shape a new platform for the world of internet music, major artists dominate the pages of these sites.
MySpace recently launched it's new and updated music platform in which it partnered with the 4 major record labels to bring advertising supported free streaming music.
However, they left out the key artists who will ultimately shape the future of music, the indie music artists, and the indie music industry wasn't exactly pleased with this, according to an article featured on reuters.
There are however, sites that are around to support the indie music world and will not only provide indie music reviews, but also indie music charts. Eventually, the playing field between indie music and major music will be the same.
There is a massive revolution taking place, and it represents one of the biggest changes in the world of music since the creation of technology that allowed music to be stored and portable.
But this revolution will bring more than just the music that is forced to users by the major labels. Today's 'virtual' music industry is a fight for independence, and there have been plenty of indie music artists who have been successful without the big bully major labels who eat up most of their profits.

- The tide is changing because there is a ton of indie music out there that comparable and even better than what the majors are offering up. Give me indie or give me death! :)

- My wife recently bought a pair of which she seems intent on wearing until they self destruct. She wanted to know how she could clean then so she set about researching the best ways and also tried a bit of experimentation from UGG Caspia Boots, UGG Caspia, UGG Caspia 1932, UGG 5819, UGG Boots 5819.
