Some of the items lead to larger sections on the site which include a multitude of materials. ~ Science & Technology Timeline: These dates and events could be written on pages of a mini book for a lapbook. Homeschool Share has many blank Lapbook Templates in all sorts of shapes and designs. We also like to make timeline cards by drawing or gluing a picture on the front of a an index card, and writing the date and description on the other side. We make a game of it by mixing a chunk of the cards up and trying to put back in the correct order or to sort them according to certain characteristics that you choose. You could also make a matching game by putting info on one card and the date on another card and matching them in a type of "concentration" type game.

Industrial Revolution - Good or Bad?

It's easy to look at all the modern technology we have and say that things are better overall because of the Industrial Revolution, but many argue that the poorer air quality, decrease in natural resources, and labor issues make our world a much worse place to live in than before.

I'm a bit torn between the two lines of thinking. I try to do my part to make the world a "greener" place and would like it to be cleaner, but I would be very upset to lose internet capabilities and other conveniences that we have.
