Roulette Systems

Using roulette systems is a traditional way to play roulette. These systems are designed to beat the house edge and give players the best chances of winning. Some roulette systems are progression systems and some are non-progression systems. There are important differences apparent in each type, and both types have its own strengths and weaknesses.

Roulette Systems: Positive Progression

Also Negative Progession Roulette System

Progression systems are divided into a few different categories. The two most popular methods of using a progression system are to use either negative progression or positive progression. Both system types are an attempt to play against the house odds, and both systems can be played out over a long period of time.

Systems using negative progression call for the wager being raised after a loss. Many systems, such as the Martingale Progression system, have the next bet after a loss being raised each and every time. If the system is followed correctly, there will eventually be a win at some point, and the player will walk away with winnings, even if the session started out badly. Many players run into trouble with negative progression roulette systems, however, as their bankroll must be extremely large to support any extended play.

The other progression type, positive progression, is also called pyramiding. With this type of system, once the player has won, the winnings are used to aggressively win even larger amounts at the roulette wheel. The obvious downside to this system is that it requires a lot of winning in order to be successful. It also can be wiped out completely as soon as the winnings are lost.

Casinos and Roulette Table Limits

Table limits put in place to stop your roulette system from being as effective.

Most casinos are aware of the systems that players use to try to beat the odds. Some casinos have instituted wager limits for each single roulette wager to try to dissuade players from using progression systems. Other casinos have actually imposed limits on the amount of rounds in a row one player can play. To get around table maximums, players have to be more creative than ever to try to get around the system.

One way to get around some of the table limits is to play a no-progression system. With these, there are various ways of playing, but none require huge bets or any increasing of the bets. Some systems rely on observing the ball and noting which numbers it tends to land on. Some systems entail other methods of predicting the ball's course, but offer a way to have a little control over the odds.

Conclusions on discussing Roulette Systems

Which Roulette System is the one for me and you?

Before deciding on a system for roulette, think about which system will work better with your amount of money to wager, the amount of time available to you for playing roulette, and what odds the system has to offer you. There are systems that may work better for you than others, depending on these criteria, and a few systems out there may have very little to offer you.

Apart from all the other systems, there is a site which constantly searches the internet for roulette systems and test/reviews them to determine which work well, which don't and which are scams. The site is here: Roulette Systems, Strategies and Reviews
