It goes without saying that infant shoes are very cute, and many parents all over the world spend tons of money on baby footwear. When you can't overestimate the aww factor of infant shoes and the joy of buying and looking at tiny teeny Reebok sneakers in pink, or Stride Ride leather booties, many experts suggest that buying shoes for the baby before she starts walking is unnecessary.

Some experts argue that putting shoes on babies who don't know how to walk yet may prevent their feet from growing properly. They say that the best thing to do is to let your child be barefoot when he or she is learning how to walk. It is not only the best for their little feet, but also the easiest way for them to learn how to walk. Going barefoot helps improve their balance and coordination.
