Infertility Research

Infertility is a major problem and I want to try to bring some of the latest information and research on the treatment of infertility for both men and women as well as explain some of the causes of infertility. Research into infertility is an ongoing process but it mainly covers two areas: the clinical or medical approach and the holistic process, often referred to as the more natural process.
When feeds from different sources are available, I'll add those on to cover some of the more important health issues, not just about infertility but on all areas that can affect the process of reproduction, whether it is from a sports point of view or the latest research into genetics - all of it is important in the are of infertility. I'll also point you to some interesting blogs or websites that may have interest into infertility.
Of course, your suggestions and comments will only add to the discussion and may help some couple who has been trying to conceive for a very long time.

infertility Inurance Coverage

What you need to know about infertility insurance coverage

Pregnacy and InsuranceJust trying to find insurance companies that cover insurance is really like finding a needle in a haystack. Let's face it, there is not much money for insurers who have to shell out 10's of thousands of dollars to help someone get pregnant. Particularly since the whole process is as natural and organic as possible. It is life itself.
Insurance companies are mandated in about 15 states to make infertility coverage a reality for certain groups depending upon age, effort, employer and other conditions based upon political and economic considerations. They do not take into account that people want to have happy, healthy children to carry on the legacy of their time on the planet, let alone the joy of watching a baby take her first step. There is nothing more rewarding than to know that you created that moment long ago.
Infertility insurance makes it difficult for anyone without the means to do so, to pay for the costly procedures of treatment. Some of the treatments cost upwards of $50-60,000, far more than an average couple can afford in their early years of marriage. Another restriction that makes it difficult, even for people who can afford it is the age limitations. Some states have no limit, but others block it off at 40 years of age.

Infertility Is Becoming More Common

Infertility treatments still work

Infertility treatments do have a place and are becoming more common due to the increase in the environment and less natural way in which we obtain our food, as well as our interaction with each other. The internet has been both a help finding information, but it also is a deterrent due to the amount of time people spend sitting in front of the screen rather than doing something far more physical - a requirement for a healthy full term pregnancy.
Some of the feeds I'll be adding include those that cover all areas of health. Your comments are always welcome. So happy baby-making!%u263A

Infertility clinics

Are they really worth the effort?

Celtic sign of fertilityWhen you try to have a baby and it doesn't take, there are many who try to find out what the problem is and get help. Infertility clinics use a variety of analytical techniques to determine where the problem lies. It could be a hormonal problem with the woman or a physical problem with the man. The most common problems are easily diagnosed: alcohol or drug abuse, overweight or underweight etc. When it comes to other problems such as ovarian cysts or low sperm counts, tests are conducted to determine where the problem lies.
Often a problem is diagnosed and the remedy suggested, however, that may not solve the problem. Chances are that if the infertility lies within either partner, it may be because of a series of life-long habits that are not conducive to conception. For example, if a person is an alcoholic, chances are that there is a problem with other areas including overall nutrition, hormone imbalance, or mental issues that effect the ability to produce healthy eggs in women or potent enough sperm in men to make the swim.
Infertility clinics do have the ability to determine where the major problem lies, but often do not go far enough to make sure that enough to insure that the couple is completely cured of any infertility problems.

A New Factor in Male Infertility

Got to Blame Somebody

Male sperm - take no prisioners! It's true, men are responsible for about 1/3 of the infertility problems nationwide. Most due to the major factors such as stress, addiction, and anatomical malfunction. But placing the blame may help reduce the stress, finding an answer to the problem of male infertility may lie with the researchers who have recently discovered that an antidote for overdosing on Tylenol, which apparently is more common then you think, may help the little swimmers reach their lifelong (albeit short life) dream of fertilizing an egg. How you find enough impotent men who overdose on acetaminophen and are willing to sit for a researcher is beyond my imagination. but apparently, in Turkey, they have such people. Nevertheless, the study indicates that with a combination of this antidote and a little selenium, the struggling swimmers become stronger, faster, harder with a touch more endurance. There is hope yet!
