I am the type of person who makes impulse buys, whether I'm walking in the mall or when i'm in front of the television. I can't say whether it's a good or bad thing. Sometimes I don't use what I buy, but other products have become favorites and I use them daily. I watch a lot of television and have seen my share of infomercials. Most of are corny and I end up laughing rather than buying something. I want to see what other peeps in my world like and dislike about some of the infomercials we've bought from in the past. I have mixed feelings and am eager to see what others think. Please don't hold back your opinions. Below are five TV infomercials past and present that I have motivated me to purchase a product. Infomercials are television commercials that run as long as a typical television program (roughly 28 minutes, 30 seconds). Infomercials, also known as paid programming (or teleshopping in Europe), are normally shown outside of peak hours, such as late at night or early in the morning. Infomercials are designed to solicit a direct response which is specific and quantifiable and are, therefore, a form of direct response marketing (not to be confused with direct marketing). The ad response is delivered directly to television viewers by infomercial advertisers through the television ad.

I had to post this commercial instead of the infomercial. What moves!!! This product works, but don't leave it on too long, cause it can burn your sensitive areas. Your hair starts growing back in 3 days and you know it's toxic, because it actually burns your hair. However, if you need to get rid of some hair fast and don't want to wax...Nair it!

The Queen acted like a peasant with this purchase. It's on the worst products i've had in awhile. Roars like a lion on tv, but purrs like a kitten at home. It worked for about 45 mintues and then it was all down hill. Battery doesn't hold a charge and you will save more time picking up your mess by hand. It's sitting in my garage reminising about the glory days. Don't waste your time calling customer service. You have a better chance at winning the lottery.
