Ingrown Hair Removal: 3 Main Solutions To Choose From
Firstly, you can use an ingrown hair removal lotion to release the trapped hair.
Secondly you can use tweezers if it is just one or two hairs that are causing the problem. However, follow the guidelines carefully in order to use this method safely.
Thirdly, and the most expensive option, is laser hair removal treatment.
The next three sections examine each of these ingrown hair remedies in detail.

Personal Note: I've been a distributor for Nisim body care products for some years including an ingrown hair removal solution. A while ago my wife had a problem with ingrown hairs after waxing. I ordered a bottle of Kalo Ingrown Hair Treatment for her thinking we may as well try it seeing I'm marketing the stuff!
She applied it 3 times a day for a few days and within the week the ingrown hairs were cleared up. I was impressed.
She wasn't so impressed with the smell of the lotion. I personally couldn't see anything wrong with it but then she has an acute sense of smell! So all in all we were pleased.
Actually, in checking my records, I find the return rate for this product is less than 1%. It comes with a hassle free no questions asked refund guarantee. So 99 out of 100 people that order it are satisfied to the extent they don't request a refund.
So those are some personal observations. Go ahead and read all the information below and see which ingrown hair solution suits you best.

Ingrown Hair Removal Treatment
How It Works

KALO INGROWN HAIR REMOVAL TREATMENT
Description: A post-epilating or after-shaving solution which eliminates ingrown hair, redness, bumps and irritation caused by shaving, waxing, tweezing, and other hair removal methods.
It is not an ingrown hair removal cream, rather it is an ingrown hair removal lotion. The solution is easily absorbed into the skin.
Ingrown Hair Treatment not only makes ingrown hair vanish, it also helps you avoid ingrown hairs in the first place.
Who Can Use It: Men and women.
How It Is Used: For large areas, spray Ingrown Hair Treatment directly onto the affected area.
For smaller and sensitive areas such as eyebrows or bikini area apply with a cotton swab.
Apply liberally and rub in thoroughly immediately after every hair removal session.
Repeat two to three times daily until the skin clears.
When Results Can Be Expected: Ingrown Hair Removal Treatment can make ingrown hair vanish within a few days.
Where It Can Be Used: On any area of the body where hair has been removed.
The Pain Factor: Minor stinging may be experienced due to the alcohol content. The effect is similar to most aftershave products.
To minimize this effect for sensitive skin, allow 10-30 minutes after epilating or shaving before applying Ingrown Hair Removal Treatment.
If using Kalo Hair Inhibitor Spray or Lotion, allow 2-3 hours before applying the Ingrown Hair Removal Treatment.
How It Works: Ingrown Hair Removal Treatment mildly exfoliates the outer dermal layer of skin while adding elasticity to the newly exposed hair.
This releases the trapped hair from under the constantly regenerating layers of skin.
Ingrown Hair Removal Treatment is effective for both the treatment and prevention of ingrown body hair.
Safety Standards: Ingrown Hair Removal Treatment does not use Acetylsalicylate (ASA) to deaden pain like some other products.
Even those allergic to Aspirin can safely use Ingrown Hair Removal Treatment.
Ingrown Hair Removal Treatment also provides antiseptic and antibacterial benefits to skin.

The Tweezing Option For Ingrown Hair Removal
How To Remove Ingrown Hairs Safely Using Tweezers
Tweezing Advice Note #1 For ingrown hairs which are deep, sterilize a pair of needle-nosed tweezers with rubbing alcohol. Then lift each ingrown hair individually out of its follicle.
You may need assistance from a partner if it is difficult for you to see it.
Wipe the area with alcohol afterwards and shave.
Tweezing Advice Note #2
If needle-nosed tweezers are not available, wipe a pin or needle and the ingrown area with rubbing alcohol.
Then carefully release the hair in the direction that it grows using the tip of the needle only.
Never jab the needle into the skin.
After the hair is released, wipe the skin with alcohol again.
Tweezing Advice Note #3
Do not use ordinary tweezers to release the hair as there is the risk of taking out a chunk of the skin with it resulting in more skin irritation and damage.
Tweezing Advice Note #4
After releasing the ingrown hair, use an aftershave moisturizer to help close the pores and heal the skin.

Ingrown Hair: The Laser Option
Do Your Research
Generally laser treatment offers a more permanent solution to the ingrown hair problem although the results can vary from person to person.Laser Treatment
Laser systems emit a gentle beam of light that passes through the skin to the hair follicle. The hair absorbs it, the energy from the laser is transformed into heat and the hair follicle is disabled.
Lasers can treat hundreds of hair follicles simultaneously so the process is much quicker than electrolysis.
Epilight
Photo-Epilation or pulsed light devices use the same principle as lasers but they are not lasers. An intense pulsed light is used to disable hair follicles with minimal side effects.
It can be effective in hair removal but requires a higher level of skill in operating as it is more difficult to adjust than lasers.
Due to it's larger spot size, large areas of the body such as the back or legs can be treated rapidly. One study showed a 50 to 60 percent clearance of hair in 12 weeks.
Note: Check your local Yellow Pages or Local Business Directory under Laser, Epilight, or Electrolysis to check out what is available in your area. It is often wise to visit the premises first and take note of the level of hygiene and professionalism. Qualifications and licenses are often displayed.

Ingrown Pubic Hair
5 Advice Notes
Advice Note #1For ingrown pubic hairs along the bikini line, hold a hot compress against ingrown spots for ten minutes three times a day to soften the skin and help the hairs work their way out.
Advice Note #2
Wear loose-fitting underwear and clothing until the bumps are gone to avoid friction.
Advice Note #3
Some find it helpful to exfoliate the area before waxing. This removes some of the dead skin cells in the top layer of skin that often contribute to trapping the hairs.
Exfoliating options include creams, lotions, or body gels, a slightly abrasive washcloth or glove specifically designed for exfoliation. Check at the beauty counter at your local department store.
Advice Note #4
Do not exfoliate the skin if you already have ingrown pubic hairs as further skin irritation may result.
Advice Note #5
When waxing, be sure to pull the hair out by the roots.
Do not allow the hair to break below the skin surface.

Note: Personal shavers are now very popular for safe genital hair removal and they avoid the problem of tweezing ingrown hairs.
