Top 10 Reasons to Send Thank You and Greeting Cards

Ranked #488 in Relationships & Family, #66,103 overall

Why send greeting cards?

I went to all the networking meetings.  I met prospects.  I called prospects. I sent e-mails.  I sent flyers.

But, I still found myself reluctant to ask for business over and over when no business was forthcoming.  I was getting discouraged.

Then I discovered a simple on-line greeting card system.  I used greeting cards to keep in contact with prospects.  I sent thank you notes.  I sent notes of appreciation to people.  I gave leads to other people.  I tried helping others find ways to improve their business.

I began to actually establish relationships.

Clients called me after getting a card.  Referrals began to increase.  Clients asked how they could send cards.  I had a new business.

I hardly ever send a card.

Really? What difference does thank you mean anyway.

Yes, I know, most of us never send a card. I never sent cards. With this easy system, I sent cards to friends I had not talked with for over 30 years. I got calls from many of those friends. That felt great.

Did you know that only 3% of our mail is personal?

What do you open first? The greeting card! We all want to know what somebody thinks of us, especially if it might be good.

I love to get cards. Maybe that should have been a clue. I just never got around to sending cards.

People build businesses using greeting cards. Tom Hopkins and Joe Girard are examples. Why can't you or I do that?

Just can't think of an occasion

A list of holidays for almost every day

You need a holiday, then just take a look at these bizarre holidays. Never lack an excuse for sending a card.

Could greeting cards help you become President?

Thank you notes were part of George H. W. Bush's path to the White House.

George H. W. and Barbara Bush sent a thank you note to every volunteer and host they met. Many credit that with getting him to the White House.

When you meet a prospect, the single best thing you can do is send a thank you note. People will be amazed. You will be remembered. Try it!

I found a system that worked for my computer services business.  It was so much fun and worked so well, I became a distributor.
