It can be easy to buy the wrong ink cartridge for your printer. However, it is also easy to install the right one.

When you're about to purchase more cartridges, just make sure that you look and see which kind of cartridge is inside the computer. Also, make a note of the kind of computer you have. More specifically - the make and model. Knowing that information will help you buy the right one.

Once you purchase the cartridge, follow the package instructions carefully to make sure you install it properly. Sometimes, the directions are also located on the printer itself.

Questions to Ask While Purchasing Ink Cartridges

To make sure you purchase the right cartridge and find the best deals, you may want to ask these questions.
  • Do you know the make and model of your printer? Even if you think the cartridge is compatible, the only way you'll really know is if you have this information.
  • Did you compare prices? Before you buy your ink cartridges, make sure you compare prices. This will insure that you get a good deal.
  • Did you install it properly? If you follow the instructions that are on the printer or in the manual, you can't go wrong.
  • Did you recycle your old cartridge? Even if you don't buy your cartridges at the local office supply chain store, bring your old cartridges there for recycling.

    Thanks for the post. You should include some information about re manufactured inkjet cartridges and also refilling. in the end the biggest expense with printers is getting new ink. You mention recycling old cartridges but nothing about purchasing remanned units. you are still contributing to the waste problem if you buy new
