The Art of Transferring Inkjet Images

Image transfer is a highly popular technique artists use in collages, altered art, art journals, cardmaking, art quilts, etc.  This lens is a one stop resource for what I think is the best information about how to do an inkjet image transfer along with where you can get some of the papers and other products to try it for yourself.  It is also organized by different receiving surfaces (paper, cloth, ceramics, etc.) so you don't have to wade through Google to find the one you want.

FYI, Great White(R) Matte Coated Imaging & Photo Paper is now called Jet Print Imaging and Photo Paper - Matte. It's out of production as well (arg!), but there are still some folks that sell what's left (Google for it). I've found HP's Everyday Matte Photo Paper works well with Epson Durabrite inks, for inkjet transfers that are clear and don't run. There is also a brand of Apollo inkjet transparencies that works well for transferring, without all the paper mess. I don't have a link to a tutorial, but the Inkjet Transfers Yahoo Group you've linked to should have one. :D

in reply to Stinky Sheer Heaven isn't actually my product, but on the information page about it here, it says it can be used on any porous surface such as muslin. So I'd say the answer is yes, it can be used on t-shirts. :)
