7 Home remedies for insomnia

1. Lavender oil. Put a drop on your pillow to help you relax,

2. Pearl powder is said to work on insomnia. Get that from the chinese medicine shop.

3. Put a few drops of lavender oil and geranium oil in a foot bath filled with comfortably warm water. Soak your feet in it for 20 minutes just before you sleep.

4. A cup of chamomile tea, drunk before you sleep.

5. A cup of warm milk works better for some people as a bed time drink.

6. Stay away from computers, TV or anything that emits bright light an hour or two before you sleep. Unwind by listening to music or reading a book intead.

7. Exercise in the morning. I find that a morning run lets me sleep better at night.
