Do You Enjoy Inspirational People and Quotes?

I thrive off of inspirational people and quotes! I have a daily routine where I listen to many different inspirational people, and go over a number of inspirational quotes. The thing that fascinates me about this is how so much of even what I hear over and over can end up seeming new over and over again. I look for tools to live by so to speak, and this is one of the tools that I feed off, and it really allows me to feel uplifted when I tune into it.

What propelled me to write about this, is an Arnold Schwarzeneggar video that I have added to my daily arsenal, and am amazed how I enjoy the video over and over, and just felt inspired to share it.

Will Smith

Will Smith just blows me away with his conviction in his beliefs and his ability to express them so openly and fully. I have watched one video of his, Will's Wisdom, probably a thousand times, or more. That is just so filled up with amazingness, it still blows me away to this day, every time I watch it. I just love his whole manner, attitude and conviction. I find myself inspired through listening to him express his philosophy, and one of the aspects I love most about it is how it helps me to believe more and more in myself. Part of the message that he expresses is that he doesn't want to be an icon, but rather inspire people to believe in themselves, and even pass along the idea that we really can create what we want in life.

“I may have to do a part two, we will see :)”

Arnold Schwarzeneggar

This is not in any particular order. Arnold has been my latest addition to my inspirational daily arsenal. He is such an inspiring person with all that he has accomplished. I was recently watching his old work out videos, and I am amazed with the way that he seems so cam and focused when you look at his face, with unbelievable concentration. Then there is this amazingly fierce body underneath his calm and peaceful looking face.

This is my second time typing this about Arnold, as I hit save, and my internet cable was detached when I did. But the first time around, I was talking about the video that I have been listening to, which I am listening to as I type, and I just randomly quoted what he said as I was typing, which was:

'What's the point of being on this earth if all you're going to do is try and be liked by everyone and avoid trouble?'

His story and accomplishments blow me away, going from Mr. Universe to his run as a Hollywood star and then onto becoming the Governor of California. What I find fascinating is that he used the same philosophy for becoming an actor and the Governor, as he did for hiss weight lifting. he basically says, I just applied the same thing and it worked. That's just awesome!

Mohammad Ali

I am blown away by Mohammad Ali, and his charisma and the way he spoke so confidently about his events he was entering. What got me to pay attention to him was a famous speech of his, where he says, "I will show you how great I am." I had never heard that before, although when I look it up, it appears to be his 'famous speech'.I know about the power of words along with the thoughts we think, and the power of word are quite evident when you listen to Mohammad Ali when considering his track record. I get such goosebumps from the piece in the talk where he continued from what I referred to earlier, and he continues with, "All you chumps will bow when I whoop him, all of ya I know you got him, I know you got him picked, but the man's in trouble, I'll show you how great I am!" That just blows me away. There aren't many who speak like that for they are overtaken by fear of looking stupid. There is a video with that quote in it that I also listen to often and am listening to it now, as I wanted to make sure I had his quote right, along with the fact that I love it!

“There are no rules here. We're trying to get work done.

Tony Robbins

Tony Robbins is another who I discovered recently. I watched a video of a talk he gave at the TED convention, and was pretty moved by it. I hadd glanced through his materials perhaps ten years ago as well including buying his book 'Awaken the Giant Within', but it didn't quite resonate with me at the time. One day not long after the talk at Ted, I decided to look it up again, and I noticed a video of Hugh Jackman talking about Tony Robbins, so I wanted to see what he has to say. He seemed to be pretty inspired by Tony along with quite fond of him, and Hugh mentioned how he had heard about Tony helping Andre Agassi and Serena Williams. Apparently, each in their own individual situations had hit a slump and weren't doing really well. Then they each worked with Tony and after they both placed first again. That's pretty amazing of you ask me.

I then listened to some more Tony and this time around I resonated deeply with him, and his whole message is aligned with what I believe. I like how he has plans of action to embark on immediately. One aspect that really got to me is where he mentions his incantations that he used when he wasn't doing so hot, and how they really lifted him up, almost virtually overnight.

OMG... Too many to even think about listing. I'm inspired by the "giants" of motivational and spiritual teachings, sure... but I'm equally inspired by people I meet in my everyday life.
