A mom* can be any woman in your life who supports your dreams, builds your confidence, listens to you, is there for you, shows compassion, and just plain inspires you to be a better version of yourself!! Sure, sometimes she is actually your mother, but maybe she's a grandmother, a friend's mother, a teacher, a mentor, an aunt, a neighbor...you tell us who she is and why your mom* rocks!!

I love my mom. The best part about my mom is she raised two boys by herself. She did a lot for the two of us. Raising her two boys was not always easy for her since I had a lot of problems and my brother off in college. I agree with you on the fact that the Mom definition should be changed. Mom's no longer can stay at home and raise the children. Many mothers nowadays have to get jobs in order to support her family since many father's are not around. And also with family busy schedules Mom's do not have the time to stay at home. They have to take their kids to soccer or football practice while the father is still working.
